What has been your experience in the field of the position you are applying for? I have been occupying the position of VP on External Relations at EYP Armenia during the last year, which means that I have closely co-operated with the board and the President
I believe that with the volume of the success that we achieved last year, the main goal of the president should be working towards ensuring that the organisation becomes more sustainable and that the transition process between old and new boards is less painful. Since the majority of the board is retiring and new people will be occupying virtually all the slots, this might well be the case. Hence, I am running for Presidency. My main task will be a guide for new boards, so that they get in line with their responsibilities within a fairly short amount of time and make sure that last year’s outcomes are a threshold for the 2017 board and improving them, but even
I have organized or initiated several project that turned out to be a great success (ESS 2016, IEFA 2016, Understanding Europe) I am member of the body that, on a global scale, is most responsible for developing the EYP network within each of its participating countries (Regional Development Council)

meeting same results again will be quite a hard task and will demonstrate how well established the board is. I have tried out every single position within EYP sessions and I’m fully aware of how the national committee works. I do have experience of working in EYP internationally and there’s literally nothing that can get me cold feet. With all of this in mind, I believe I am the person who should lead the organisation during the upcoming term. What is EYP Armenia for you? It’s a part of an international network that has become an indispensable part of my life.

I have come a long way, have been a part of dozens of sessions, training events and teams. The EYP has always taught me to go forward and set higher goals, stay motivated and take up challenges. This would not be the case if all the people involved in this organization had not continuously inspired and supported me. What else shapes EYP, if not the people? In this organisation, which has become a family for me, I have met some of the most influential and inspiring individuals who have helped me pave my path and aspire for more. In EYP Armenia I have created my most precious friendships, I have met people who have entered my life for once and for all, people who have changed me and people whom I have changed. During every single session, forum and training and within each team I have been part of, I have acquired something priceless and non-physical that only EYP could have given me. Why are you applying for the position in the Board of EYP Armenia and why people should vote for you?
Wonderland is without showing it. Just like a real life in EYP we have good times and bad times, but only after getting engaged in it we understand how life changing and soul shaping place is EYP. For me EYP is people that make us forget and overcome the adversities that we face. Those people once unknown to you become lifelong friends and at the same time maintain high academic knowledge in different spheres.
From 2014 to 2017, Three years full of life-changing experience. Three years full of risings and falls. Three years full of gains and losses. And finally three years which changed everything in my life. In these three years I have participated in more than 12 EYP Forums both as a delegate and as an official. During this period I understand what I can do perfectly and where I need to seek an improvement and development. After my entertaining journey in EYP world where I have met a big variety of people (potentially future Mark Sears among them), from different countries and cultures, those people have helped me to grow and were always ready to provide me with necessary tools to fulfill my potential to the highest point. EYP has always been a family where each person is caring for the other one I realized that after the fact of how much I have gained as a person and as a professional, through help of my friends and other co-EYPers. I have understood that in any circumstances we can create an environment that is necessary for people to realize their potential to the fullest. By utilization of my EYP and nonEYP experience in the position of the Vice President of internal affairs, I would be able to pay back to the people that helped me to grow and at the same time to provide the new members of the EYP family a platform for the realization of their potential and the personal growth. What is EYP Armenia for you? Nobody can give a precise definition of EYP. Some experienced EYPers have described EYP as a Wonderland, from the famous fairy tale ″Alice in the Wonderland″. Imagine how hard it is to explain to Alice what the

Dear members of EYP Armenia, There have been many organisations, institutions and people in my life, who have given me much and from whom I have learned much. A while back, I realized that the best way to thank those people and institutions is by contributing to what they believe in and making sure that what they stand for reaches larger audiences and is not violated. As a result, I have always tried to be active in places that have taught me much and places that matter to me. Needless to say, EYP Armenia is one of those organisations for me. It is a place where I have learned and grown. It is also an organisation that I feel indebted to, in the best sense of the word. That is why I want to be part of the executive board: to contribute to the future growth and development of EYP and to give back to it as much as I can. I am applying for the HR Officer and Alumni Coordinator position, fully understanding that I will be responsible for making every EYPer aware of all the opportunities they have, as well as helping make sure

that all of them are selected for roles and sessions that will challenge them and bring out the best in them. I also realise that this is both a wonderful opportunity and a huge responsibility for me. Therefore, by putting forward my candidacy for this role, I am also publicly dedicating myself to EYP and promising to work hard and do my best to never let it down. What is EYP Armenia for you? EYP Armenia for me is a place to simply be. It took me quite a long while to understand and feel what EYP is all about: three years, to be honest. However, once I did figure it out, I fell in love. I fell in love with the organisation and the sessions that make it up, with the memories I made and all the things they made me feel, with the opportunities I got and the risks they made me take. But, most of all, I fell in love with the community and the way anyone who wanted to be part of it belonged, with the way EYP embraced everyone who was ready to be challenged. As a result, EYP Armenia has been many things for me: a place to learn; a place to laugh and a place to cry; a place to teach and a place to grow; a place to love and a place to be loved. But most importantly, EYP Armenia for me is a place I simply am.

group on knowledge sharing and assistant to the Vice-President of EYP Armenia on External Affairs. Thanks to my experience both inside and outside of EYP I have learnt to be flexible and adaptable. I have mastered my cooperation skills, became proficient in multitasking and decision-making. My university studies as an English and Communication major helped me to shape and develop my intercultural understanding. During my career I have conquered different heights, which drove me forward to achieve more, however I always placed EYP at the pedestal because nothing came even close to the amount of experience and knowledge that it has given to me. This is the aspiration behind my application, this is what pushes me to challenge myself, to try me in a more demanding position. I am confident that my abilities, expertise and passion will continue to prosper EYP Armenia and I am convinced that I can utilize my potential to the maximum, serve as a successful and capable HR Officer and Alumnus Coordinator. What is EYP Armenia for you? I have been asked questions like this about EYP Armenia so many times and to be honest those are my least favorite questions. Because after so many attempts to give a proper answer I came to a conclusion that it is simply impossible to express that feeling in words. One thing that I know for sure, joining EYP was the best decision that I’ve made in my life. My answer is short; It feels like I was a fish swimming in waters of a dim lake and then I fell into an open ocean, ocean of opportunities.

Why are you applying for the position in the Board of EYP Armenia and why people should vote for you? I have started my EYP career back in 2015. I was just a delegate inspired by the work that the organizing team had done. And during one of the breaks, I met the Head Organizer and asked her a question: “How? How have you done this work?” The answer was life-changing, “If you want to understand how then you need to be an organizer”. These words were a springboard which helped me find myself. And after 6 months when I saw the call for the organizers, I

one cares for each other. This is the family where you can be more than sure that they will support you whenever you need that. This is what EYP is all about!
definitely applied. That was really amazing. (You need to try it for sure!) I am a person who after reaching his goals is taking the same goals to a different level. After being an organizer I did my best to show everyone that I am ready to be a Head Organizer. Guess what? Since then, I have been a Head Organizer twice! Whenever someone asks me if it’s enough or I’m fed up or it’s time to create a personal life, the answer is always the same: “No! Not now!” This is the path I chose upon joining the EYP (our) family: to do something good and unique for YOU. I am sure that the delegates enjoyed the forums, where I’ve been in the organizing team, and not only the venues and accommodations but also the spirit created during those events, from DECODE to DESS2017. If you believe that I am the best candidate for the position of Local Activities Coordinator, if you want to have the most unique and unforgettable gatherings, and want to feel the EYP SPIRIT, then vote for me! I hope that the upcoming board will be a source of motivation for you all and that you will give me that opportunity to be a part of that source. What is EYP Armenia for you? EYP is like a black hole. When you get in, there’s no way back. In this black hole, you can find people who have a different profession, culture, religion, and gender, People who will become your friends, People who will become your source of inspiration, People who will change your life. A close friend of mine once told me that every EYP forum is unique not because of the venues or the academically strong resolutions but because of PEOPLE. That is a unique part of EYP. Because everything that I need in my life is friends, fun and the goal that I want to achieve. The most adorable part is when you merge these things together. For example, if you are having fun with friends and you have the same goals. This combination is called EYP. This is the family where every-

I think that we will do our best To become EYP the better organization in the world. The members can vote me, because I’m very punctual and organized person, which can help the team members working with a responsible coleague. In the same time I’m creative and smart person. I will help the team mempers in legal part. I think that the signification of my words we will see in the working atmosphere.
In the school I organized many events with pupiles. I would like mention that I’m very organized and creative person. In the non-governmental organization I haven’t experienc, but APY gave me chance to gain a experience. Why are you applying for the position in the Board of EYP Armenia and why people should vote for you?
What is EYP Armenia for you? Besides EYP Armenia is a unique familly, it is a really good educational organization, which gives a chance not only to use theoretical knowledge into practical during forum, conferences and being part of orgteams, but also to meet great people and to have lots of fun. EYP Armenia gives opportunities, friends and many wonderful things. And I think that New life begins with EYP.
I’ve waited for a long time to have an opportunity to become a member of the board, which supports and leads youth. This is a mission that needs true and caring leaders. I believe that this is one of the most necessary and unique chances given to me to gain a big experience of communication with other young and thoughtful adults who gathered to scrutinize their concerns and thoughts about our societies’ big issues. I frequently use this quote of Mahatma Gandhi “Be the change you want to see in the world”, so I believe that the internship in this amiable community will give me the opportunity to meet those people who want to be the changes they want to see in the world.
