Dear EYPers, It is our pleasure to hereby open the call for trainers for the 8th Alumni Weekend of EYP the Netherlands! General information The 8th Alumni Weekend of the European Youth Parliament the Netherlands will be held in Huizen from the 20th to the 22nd of September 2013. The event will give our alumni the chance to participate in workshops and trainings as well as socialise. The weekend will be a great learning experience, but also a fun time. The weekend is organised under the supervision of the Alumni Coordinator, Christien van der Harst, and the Alumni Committee. Them, as well as the Board of EYP NL, are keen on continuously improving our events. Therefore, we are now, for the first time in the history of the Alumni Weekends of EYP the Netherland, opening a call for trainers and we hope that those EYPers that are looking to gain more training experience, to help educate and guide a new generation of EYPers, as well as furthering the knowledge of more experienced EYPers, are happy to join us in what we hope to be another successful event! Who are we looking for? We are looking for trainers who are able to lead workshops and trainings during the weekend. It goes without saying that Dutch alumni are free to apply as well. We are mostly interested to host trainings on chairing, basic and more advanced, but potentially also on journalism. Moreover, we are open to other workshops for more advanced groups as well, such as leadership training, or any other ideas from your side. You will be giving these trainings to small groups of alumni, approximately around ten persons per group, split up according to their level. Trainers do not pay a participation fee for the weekend. We also want to compensate some of your travel costs up to 50 Euros per trainer. Programme We created a little timetable to give you a short overview of the weekend, which is open to discussion, according to your plans and ideas.

All applicants will be informed of the selection results individually and as soon as possible after the deadline.
