He's really nice to Charlie and he starts giving him books to read. Mary Elizabeth likes Charlie. They start dating without Charlie accepting that and she controls their relationship. Charlie wants to break up with her but he's scared. Eventually he kisses Sam in front of her and all of their friends and they break up. Alice is Mary Elizabeth's friend. She is bubbly and fun. There isn't said much about her but we know that she steals jeans from stores. 4. Sam was known for being drunk and sleeping with lots of guys in her freshman year. She dated many guys that didn't treat her well. SAT is a test that is used for college admissions in USA. The SAT's were very important to Sam because she wanted to get into a good college. We also find out that she was molested by her dad's friend. She's had a really tough life. 5. Craig is Sam's boyfriend. He did not treat her well and he cheated on her many times. Eventually he told her and they broke up. 6. Patrick was Charlie's secret santa. Sam gives Charlie a typewriter for Christmas. Patrick got a mixtape, harmonica. poetry set and a book. Charlie got socks, pants, a shirt, a belt and a jacket which Patrick gave him. Charlie gives Sam a vinyl record and a letter. 7. He does LSD for the first time. 8. His grandfather. 9. It will end well. He's feeling much better and a lot more confident.
