The Perks of Being a Wallflower – part 1 Before watching part 1 1. Middle school ages range from 11-14 and high school ages range from 14-18. You have to be more responsible in high school but middle school is a bit easier. A freshman is a first-year student in secondary school, high school, college or university. A Senior is a student in the 4th year of high school or college. 2. Homecoming is a tradition in universities, colleges and high school. It welcomes back alumni of a school. It usuallly occurs in the fall. After watching 1. Late 80's. 4. “I'm both happy and I'm still figuring out how that could be.” -Charlie “You see things and you understand, you're a wallflower.” -Patrick to Charlie “I feel infinite.” - Charlie 5. He got depressed because his best friend shot himself. He's really shy and awkward and finds it hard to make friends. 6. He likes his parents but he doesn't want them to worry about him. They don't realize how sad he is but they are really nice to him. 7. He doesn't have the best first days of school and he doesn't like it. 8. At homecoming he dances the Living Room Routine with Patrick and Sam. In the after party he gets stoned by accident and tells Sam that his best friend shot himself. He sees Patrick and Brad kissing and promises not to tell anyone. On the way home they drive through a tunnel and while listening to a song on the radio, Sam stands at the back of the car with her hands out.
