The concept idea for the showroom and store was based on the aerodynamic of the formula 1 Ferrari’s cars. The different spaces flows into each other making the shop’s experience becomes closer to the Formula 1 world due to high-end finishes followed by the brand’s colors and shapes of bolides.

The attention to detail and the high-quality craftmanship was a “must” in this project. Leather, carbon and lacquered metal surfaces are features in this dynamic space. The custom-made joinery was designed to fit to perfection Ferrari’s briefing and available space.

A challenging client’s brief was the starting point to this project, where the design was aligned with existing corporate global standards but to be unique and reflect the Catalan culture of its location. The design was focused on unifying all the departments in the same premises, incorporating a new working space concept to enable a more collaborative work environment, with centralized services and social areas.

Open plan office spaces have been created to facilitate greater interaction between departments, with refreshment areas doubling in use to provide staff amenity space for internal meetings. The proposed design makes subtle references to corporate colours throughout the office and introduced super graphic images on canted walls within circulation routes to promote a young and dynamic office environment.

U N D E R G R A D U AT E P R O J E C T E X E R C I S E BARCELONA NET AREA 25,000 SQM This project was an exercise as an undergraduate student in the School of Arquitecture in Barcelona. It aims to create a cluster for companies in the 22 @ district of Barcelona, former industrial area of the city. The challenge is to reconstruct the urban tissue by inserting functional programs and new buildings that contribute to the restructuring of the sector, attracting new residents and businesses. The set of buildings consists in two bodies which embrace eachother to generate a semi-public space and an urban square. The walking paths through the square connect all the different areas in the project, while promoting the relationship with the environment and the urban life.

FINAL MASTER DEGREE PROJECT

The proposal is based on the need to create a space for educaction and diffusion, linked to the Pablo Picasso Museum, in Barcelona. The new building is located in the medieval part of the city, fact which determines in many ways the placement and morfological outcome of this project. Although, the design aims to revitalize the forgotten square next to the building in order to foster the community life and to create a physical link between the old and new buildings.
