The Greatest Muhammad Ali ‘Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. His hands can’t hit what his eyes can’t see. Now you see me, now you don’t.’ - Muhammad Ali RIP Muhammad Ali.
The iconic three-time world heavyweight boxing and civil rights champion, who referred to himself as ‘The Greatest’, died early this month at a Phoenix-area hospital, where he was being treated for respiratory complications. Ali, who turned 74 in January this year, had suffered for three decades from Parkinson’s, a progressive neurological condition; it slowly robbed him of both speech as well as physical dexterity. Diehard fans of Ali would remember him as a symbol of strength and courage; he burst into the national consciousness in the early 1960s as a young heavyweight champion. Born Cassius Marcellus Clay (January 17, 1942) in Louisville, Kentucky, to middle-class parents, Ali had started boxing when he was only 12. He went on to win Golden Gloves titles before heading to the 1960 Olympics in Rome, where he won a gold medal as a light heavyweight. He turned professional shortly afterward. But there was something that irked Ali from the very beginning. And that was racism. Raising his voice against American racism, he’d said, “Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn’t matter which color does the hating. It’s just plain wrong.” He found different avenues to vent out his anger; like the time when he was refused services at a soda fountain counter and he simply threw his Olympic gold medal into a river.

A forthright civil rights advocate, Ali did not shy from politics or controversy, even as his health declined. In December he was heard criticising Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States. “We as Muslims have to stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda,” he’d said. In 1967, at the height of the Vietnam War, Ali was drafted to serve in the U.S. Army. But he refused to serve, saying, “My conscience won’t let me go shoot my brother, or some darker
people, some poor, hungry people in the mud, for big powerful America, and shoot them for what?” This resulted in him being stripped of his boxing title, convicted of draft evasion and sentenced to five years in prison. Released on appeal but unable to fight or leave the country, Ali turned to the lecture circuit, speaking on college campuses. Then in June 1971, thee U.S. Supreme Court reversed the conviction in a unanimous decision that found the Department of Justice had improperly told the draft board that Ali’s stance wasn’t motivated by religious belief. Ali proved that “impossible is nothing” by defending his title until 1978, when he was beaten by a young Leon Spinks, and quickly took it back. He retired in 1979, when he was 37, but returned in 1980 for a title match against Larry Holmes, which he lost. Ali lost again, to Trevor Berbick, the following year, and then retired for good. Shortly, Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. In his final years, he was barely able to speak. Asked to share his personal philosophy, Ali let his wife read his essay which read: “I never thought of the possibility of failing, only of the fame and glory I was going to get when I won. I could see it. I could almost feel it. When I proclaimed that I was the greatest of all time, I believed in myself, and I still do.”
O.J. Simpson might confess to murders? O.J. Simpson may be a free man in 2017, but will he finally confess to the murders? Ron Shipp, a friend of Simpson’s, told The New York Daily News that O.J. is in terrible shape at the moment. “The guy is in total torment… Someone told me he is 300 pounds and he looks horrible. O.J. has always felt his appearance meant everything and now, deep down inside, he is starting to live with himself,” Shipp is quoted to have said. Shipp had testified at the trial in 1995 that Simpson had told him he had had dreams of killing Nicole Brown Simpson. He claims Simpson has hinted that he might one day confess to the murders of Nicole and Ron Goldman in 1994.
Why did Liam and Miley split? Strangely, the loquacious Miley Cyrus has remained unusually quiet about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth. She has said very little over the years about the person who appears to be her one true love. However, Liam is willing to fill the blanks. “People will figure it out, they already have. They›re not dumb,” he told GQ Australia recently. Although he didn›t go into details, he acknowledged that the two-year split was ‘hard’ on him. “But at the time we were going in different directions and it›s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time - we both needed that,” he stated.
Gigi Hadid calls herself ‘such a good girlfriend’
Gigi Hadid wants the world to know that she is a good girlfriend, even amidst talks that her relationship with Zayn Malik is over. Hadid, who won an award at Guys Choice Awards 2016 had this to say in her acceptance speech: “I called a friend and was like, ‘What do I say that is funny?’ And she was like, ‘Try and think of like, something that you did mean to a crush in middle school and try to make a joke about that.’ I was like, you know what? I have always been like, kind of like a good girlfriend! Like, even in middle school when I had crushes, like, I have always been like kind of nice!”
J.K. Rowling slams racists J.K. Rowling is obviously frustrated that ‘a bunch of racists’ have criticised the choice of casting a black actress to portray Hermione in the London stage production of ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’. The play, which sold 175,000 tickets in 24 hours, stars Olivier-award-winning actress Noma Dumezweni as Hermione, the female lead in the literary series. After critics lashed out about the casting announcement, Rowling said, “With my experience of social media, I thought that idiots were going to idiot… But what can you say? That’s the way the world is. Noma was chosen because she was the best actress for the job.”
Justin Bieber’s hair story
Justin Beiber has had quite a ‘hairy’ story this year. The singer has changed it so many times already this year, and it looks like he will go on experimenting, as he cannot seem to settle on any particular style. At the beginning of the year, he had this long-on-top, short-on-the-sides do and sported a man bun. As the strands grew, he dyed it purple. He then freaked his fans out by getting dreadlocks, but it didn’t stop there. For his next hair venture, he cut off all the dreads and went with a buzz cut. And early this month, he got an all-new hairstyle.

lose relationships, quality of relationships and supportive marriages – these three are the key facets of happiness, according to psychiatrist Robert Waldinger. As the director of a 75-year-old Harvard Study of Adult Development, Waldinger shared these three important lessons learned from the study, as well as some practical wisdom, at a TED talk early this year. Researchers of the study surveyed the respondents every two years, as they went about their lives and monitored their physical health every five years. They tracked the lives of 724 men as they went about their work, their home lives, their health, without having any knowledge of how their life stories were going to turn out. And they found that it’s not wealth, fame, hard work, or accomplishment that leads to a good and happy life; rather, it’s high quality relationships, and stable, supportive marriages. In his TED talk, Waldinger said: “So this message, that good, close relationships are good for our health and well-being, this is wisdom that’s as old as the hills. Why is this so hard to get and so easy to ignore? Well,

cover STORY we are human. What we’d really like is a quick fix; something that will make our lives good and keep them that way. Relationships are messy and are complicated and the hard work of tending to family and friends, it’s not glamorous. It’s also lifelong. It never ends. The people in our study, who were the happiest in retirement, were the people who had actively worked to replace workmates with new playmates. Many of our respondents
really believed that fame and wealth and high achievement were what they needed to have a good life. But over and over, over these 75 years, our study has shown that the people who fared the best were the people who leaned in to relationships, with family, with friends, with community.” As the study confirmed, good relationships keep us happier and healthier.
In the following feature, we present the happiness mantras of Yuthar Al Rawahy, Founder of the Oman Cancer Association and Former Member of the State Council, Tariq Al-Barwani, Founder of Knowledge Oman, Dr. Yasmin Shannan Al Bulushi, Assistant Dean, Academic Support and Student Affairs, CBFS (College of Business and Financial Studies) and Fahmi Al. HAPPINESS ‘What consistently makes me happy, no matter the conditions, is my family’, states Yuthar Al Rawahy, Founder of the Oman Cancer Association and Former Member of the State Council, as she shares her happiness quotient

appiness for me means a lot of things, and those things change with time, depending on the circumstance I’m going through. What consistently makes me happy, no matter the conditions, is my family. Having my family around me, all together, brings me such joy; it’s actually noticeable. When I was forming and helming the Oman Cancer Association, accomplishing our targets and helping cancer patients and their families – that was the major source of happiness for me on a daily basis. When I myself was a cancer patient, receiving thoughtful messages and prayers from both family and friends, and even strangers – that was the well of happiness I drew from most. On a personal level, being spiritually centred is important to me – so when things get in the way of my relationship with Allah, I find myself short and moody. Also, if you ask my children, they will not hesitate in telling you the one thing that brings me happiness without fail, is exercise! I can get

miserable if I go long periods of time without exercising or having the time or opportunity to exercise and do yoga. My journey so far has made me acutely aware of the fragility of life – so, if I were to identify a mantra, it would be: don’t take things so personally, forgive and forget quickly, and CELEBRATE each day because it truly is a tremendous gift, every day that we get to spend among loved ones in good health. Finding the good and joy in life can be easy if we train ourselves to focus on the positive and be grateful for Allah’s blessings. To appreciate what happiness means, it’s useful to know the opposite, and you find it is not a thing or a status, but a state of mind. I believe happiness is sweetest when it comes from within; when you achieve a deep satisfaction with yourself and your circle, when it is not dependent on external factors or other people. Work on your internal dialogue and satisfaction levels and I’m sure you’ll enjoy all the happiness life has to offer.
cover STORY
Don’t look for success; look f r HAPPINESS! Planning and working for your happiness is vital for achieving it, notes Tariq Al Barwani, Founder of Knowledge Oman, as he presents his take on happiness
T
he key to happiness is not success; however, happiness on the other hand, is the key to success. I personally avoid reading, doing and/or listening to things that don’t make me happy; but rather, I make it a priority to search and indulge myself in things that makes me happy. And, as a consequence, my life, thanks to Almighty Allah, is mostly filled with happiness. Simply hoping to be happy is not really an efficient way for one to become literally happy! In fact, one can easily become happy if they make it a habit to search for it. It’s a proactive behaviour that leads you to become a happy person, which in return can influence
the people that surround you too - from colleagues at work, friends around you and, of course, family at home. Trust me, it’s a contagious trait that replicates itself to all your surroundings. Does this mean that a happy person is never unhappy? No, but I can confidently tell you from my personal experience that by ensuring you continuously and proactively search for happiness in all aspects of your life, then unhappiness will have very small room to reach you. Furthermore, the impact of unhappiness on your life will be limited as well. Planning and working for your happiness is vital for achieving it. You need to be very clear on what is that you want to get out of your life and
then create a systematic plan on how you are going to get it and the level of effort you are going to put in place to make it a reality. Like any successful attempt, working for your happiness is a key to your success. Don’t look for success, but look for happiness. That’s the secret to success, really! aptured in the tinkling laughter of a child, heard in the exultant jubilee of a winning team, happiness is that elusive emotion that people from all walks of life desire to possess. Flitting around like a mesmerising butterfly, it darts in and out of our lives. But what exactly is happiness and how can it be defined? It isn’t easy to pin a single all encompassing definition to it, as it means different things to different people. I personally perceive it to be inextricably linked to one’s character. For the ambitious, it surfaces from the success attained from climbing the corporate ladder. For a social or emotional person, it could be being with and surrounded by people you really care about. The mix of personalities that I am, happiness to me is a combination of several things. It is first and foremost being at peace with myself and others. It is being able to navigate between my varied roles and living

each day savouring every moment - be it at work or at home. It could arise from doing something as mundane as unwinding with the family at the beach or the sheer delight obtained from munching on a chocolate in the quiet of the night. From the melting sweetness of my mom’s fabulous chocolate cake to accomplishing something at work, it is just waiting to be unravelled from the seemingly ordinary things in life. It needn’t always be obtained from doing something extraordinary. Pampering yourself, for instance, or letting yourself drown in the camaraderie of friends and family, giving of yourself unconditionally to spread cheer and joy around, is what makes life worth living. It is about being spontaneous and letting yourself come alive to the world around you. There is no magic formula to attain happiness or a fixed mantra to live by. The secret of being happy is to simply treasure each day and be grateful for all of God’s gifts. It is primarily to celebrate life and the joys of being alive. That, according to me, is true happiness.

The art of HAPPINESS Simplify your life and set goals that increase your sense of well-being, is the advise from Fahmi Al Ma’awali, founder of Insta8Oman and owner of Eventus. Below is his happiness mantra…
Actually, there is no art behind happiness; just that we were born happy and we show it as much as we can through that ‘smile’ we project. The formula to happiness is financial freedom, time freedom and a healthy life (spiritually and physically). Each item mentioned is a desired value that every one of us tries to achieve. Having all three is a trifecta that leads to the goal of goals. How do we do that? Simplify your life and set goals that increase your sense of wellbeing. Create a flow in your life by not staying stagnant in one state and seek challenges or push your
threshold intellectually. Being nice to others can create wonders towards everything mentioned here. Too often, we underestimate the smallest acts of caring or kindness. We disregard giving a kind word or an honest compliment.
reaching out to the deity that you worship. To me, happiness isn’t about the perfect life. It is about the efficient journey. Personal happiness doesn’t sprout from accomplishments; it arises from the innumerable activities that precede it.
Why do we do that? When we all have that common factor of seeking happiness and giving it? Being happy is allowing ourselves to be human. Meaning, that life should have a large number of pleasurable moments with feelings of engagement in meaningful activities. Happiness is relative and everyone has their own perspective of it. To some, it’s
Bottom line: happiness is self-induced and we are all responsible for our own happiness. (To see more, follow on social media: instagram and snapchat: famiwami)

Adventures of Heather Duncan
L
Blogger and adventure seeker Heather Duncan shares her love for blogging and all things adventure, as she gets set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro ost, alone and bored… That was how Heather Duncan felt when she first landed in Oman in 2012.
For someone who lived an independent life, back home in the UK, being catapulted into the life of an expat wife meant ‘sink or swim’. But she soon found a way to make friends, have fun, live out adventurous dreams and still be home to make the dinner. She soon got initiated into the blogging fraternity, thanks to the inspiration from a friend she met in town. “Eliza was a popular blogger here at the time and showed

me how to write my first post,” she recounts, adding that her now popular blog, ‘The Duncan Adventures’, has since grown immensely. As she puts it: “From a humble diary writing home to a concerned family that ‘yes we are ok’ - reaching audiences all around the world. It’s an amazing thing!”
not looking to make a stack of money from blogging or become a media celebrity; I just really enjoy the experiences it brings and the way it pushes me to be more adventurous and daring in life…or I will have nothing to write about,” she says, reflectively.
As Heather explores newer vistas and goes on adventure sprees, like the upcoming Kilimanjaro trip, she hopes to put her blogging career on top of her priority list, by letting it ‘grow organically, with love and effort’. “When I start forcing myself to churn out blog content to a schedule, that’s when it looses its charm. I’m
Talking about her family, who feature in her blog, Heather, a native of Scotland, points out that she is living in Muscat with her husband, Colin, and their young son, Spencer. “We also have a collection of animals with two large dogs, two loud cats and a turtle,” she quips.
The home I grew up in... The home I grew up in was fun, hectic and busy. As one of three siblings, there was always something going on. We were encouraged to play outdoors, climb trees, explore and be kids - I am eternally grateful to my parents for that. When I was a child I wanted to... When I was a child I wanted to become a princess. I was convinced that there must be a fast track way to do it and people were just trying to suppress my true calling. I never did find the fast track route... The moment that changed me forever... Birth of my son Spencer, who is now two and a half years old. Having a child is a huge game changer in life. No longer can you be as reckless with your time, money and health... It’s both beautiful and terrifying. My greatest inspiration... The great outdoors! It’s huge, vast, varied, stunning, terrifying - so many things all at once. Being outdoors does so many things for me - I can explore; it’s where I socialise, seek solitude on lousy days, have my best ideas and where I like to relax my body and my mind. My hero… My hero was my mother, sadly I have only come to realise this after she passed away two years ago. She was a ‘wonder woman’, juggling a full time work, three demanding kids, a husband working away for months on end, no family close by and the upkeep of a house - and she did it all well. If I could change one
Heather Duncan
thing about myself... That’s a hard one. Physically, I would change many things but that would only bring me happiness for so long. In my personality, I would make myself more confident in social situations. I’m well known for being socially awkward! Being a blogger is great, as I can hide behind the screen... I dream of... I dream of being able to eat or drink ‘anything’ I want and the calories don’t ever make me gain weight. I’m all about the food! What I see when I look in the mirror... A tired, freckly Scottish girl, with a good heart. It’s not fashionable, but I like... Wearing sports lingerie. They are not attractive with regular clothes, sadly, but I still try and get away with it when I can. My greatest regret... Not spending more time with my mum before she passed away - living here in Muscat and so far from the UK, I took for granted that she would always be there. I would do anything to even just call her up and thank her for everything she did for us as kids. You may not know it but I’m no good at... Maths! I never have been. Anything over basic grade maths and I have to use a calculator. You may not know it but I’m very good at… Being a shoulder to cry on. People love to tell me their dramas and want my no-nonsense
Scottish attitude and opinions on the situation. I’ll even throw in a good hug to make them feel better. If I have time to myself... I really enjoy going out for coffee on my own. There is just something so relaxing about a cup of coffee in a nice setting to recharge and make you feel like you can take on whatever life throws at you. My house is... A chaos! With all these animals, an active toddler, a loud husband and people always coming and going - it’s a busy, noisy and a fun house. My favourite haunt/holiday destination... Right now it is my bed. As a busy mum and adventurer I live my days at 100 miles per hour, so, by the evening, I’m ready to dive into bed with a cup of tea and a movie. My favourite weekend spot in Oman… It has to be out on the water, either at Bandar Khairan or the Daminyat Islands. The scorching summer weather makes it more appealing to head out on a boat and seek the cool sea breeze and enjoy swimming and snorkelling. I will not leave my house without… Phone, Go Pro, lip balm, wallet and a snack (I’m always eating). Five things I like about Oman… The freedom to explore, the charming people, amazing winter weather, the safe environment and the amazing locations that we can visit - like wadis, beaches and mountain tops that don’t cost a thing to visit. A book that changed me... Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. I have read it around 6 times and every time I read again, I fall in love with its charm. On top of my wish/bucket list is... Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania - I am currently in training, with less than a month to go until I head off on this adventure. My success mantra is... ‘No pain, no gain.’ In 10 years’ time, I hope to be... Happy! Wherever I am in the world, whatever I’m doing, the most I can wish for is to be happy doing it.

inistry of Tourism’s (MOT) ongoing ‘Discover Oman’s Beauty’ campaign is set to increase domestic tourism within the country, as it targets both nationals and residents. The campaign, which will run until September, will also see GCC nationals visiting the country on short - weekend and holiday trips to savour the pleasant climes in Musandam, Salalah and Jabal Shams, among others. Highlighting the vast tourism potentials of Oman all through the year, Fatma Ahmed Alsaleh, Tourism Promotion Specialist at International Offices Department, Directorate General of Tourism Promotion, Ministry of Tourism, said, “We have so many places in Sur, Ras al Jinz and other parts of Oman, besides Salalah, where the weather is very pleasant, especially in the summer. We want to shed light on these areas through this campaign.” A three-day exhibition, held at Muscat City Centre to announce the

Summer Deals
For those who have adventure in their veins, there are offers that include a trip to the Hajar Mountains where you

explore its famous souq and fort, followed by a trip to the village of Tanuf to admire the old ruins; you could even choose to walk along the riverbed for a tranquil experience. There are also options that take you to Salalah and around the city to visit places like Job’s Tomb, Mughsail Beach, Sarfait and frankincense trees. You could opt for a four-wheel tour to Bahla, Jibreen Fort, Jabal Shams or go to Wadi Bani Khalid and see how dhows are created at the Sur Dhow Factory. Get on-board a ferry to head to Masirah Island and spend time kite surfing along the beautiful coastline. There are arrangements in place for beginners to learn basics of kite surfing at the kite camps. Besides, the campaign also includes offers from leading three to five-star hotels to provide stays at reduced rates. Speaking on the sidelines of the exhibition, Salim Adi Al Mamari,
Director General for Tourism Promotion in the Ministry of Tourism, said, “Summer holidays are all about exploring different locations with families and there are so many gems within the Sultanate that must be experienced. Domestic tourism is very important to the Ministry and we will continue to take all efforts to promote it with our people.” The campaign, which is in its second year, has garnered exciting response from domestic tourists as well as GCC nationals. The campaign saw more than one million visitors from the GCC and is expected to cross that figure this year. Salalah and Jabal Akhdar are heavily promoted in the GCC, as Oman is not only endowed with a diverse terrain, it also boasts the most pleasant weather in Salalah during summer. Explaining further, Fatma Ahmed Alsaleh stated: “The temperature doesn’t exceed 24 – 25 degrees when it is 50 and above in Muscat. Even Jabal Akdhar… The highest temperature recorded was no more than 30 in the summer. These
areas are popular, not to mention places like Sur and Ashkara and Ras al Jinz; the area after Ras al Hadd towards Salalah is also hit by the monsoon season and is very pleasant during summer. “Our strategic location has endowed us with a unique geographical location, compared to the rest of the GCC countries… However, we are not into mass tourism; ours is niche tourism, whether it is adventure tourism, water sports, culture or history. We do encourage trekkers and are working on charting various avenues for trekking. Hopefully, once the facilities are set in, we will start promoting it. Besides, in Oman you are allowed to camp anywhere, as long as you are not within residential areas or natural reserves.” To make the most of this campaign, log on to www.omansummer. com for details or follow MOT’s social media channels (Facebook: TourismOman and Twitter: @OmanTourism #summerinOman)

avannah BBQ is easily the most vibrant place in the sprawling Panorama Mall, with its open vestibule reflecting African artefacts and creating the savannah effect.
Even before you step inside this exquisitely designed restaurant, you get an eyeful of its lavish African furnishings and décor, and the diners patronising it, with the glass walls and the open doorway shouting ‘welcome’ to even passersby. Add to that the attendants dressed in traditional African shirts, and you are forgiven for thinking you have stumbled on an African retreat. A dream project of Faiza Al Mazroui and her husband Ahmed al Mandhari, Savannah BBQ is clearly the

result of detailed planning and perfect execution, be it in the wooden masai statues and animal figurines or the special drums and wooden beams on the ceiling and around the sides. feast ON Savannah BBQ, which opened without much February this h ffanfare f iin early l F b hi year, has, purely on the reliable word of mouth, garnered a substantial share in the restaurant industry, thanks to the novelty of the concept and the succulent dishes that lean on ‘authentic African’, to woo diners seeking to pamper their African palates as well as foodies whose preferences are dictated by taste and the sensorial experience dished out. Personally for us, it was all about novelty for the taste buds - our African food trysts haven’t crossed beyond the occasional mandasi or sambosa. While Muscat has its share of African food joints, Savannah BBQ would easily classify as one of the prime casual dining outlets dedicated to African cuisine. Faiza calls it an Omani brand and is keen to extend its presence by franchising the same. With plans to open the outdoor seating facility with a change in the season and a host of activities to keep the momentum up and turn it into a happening place, she is well set to realise her dream of patrons queuing up to taste the Savannah fare.

Already, weekend diners are treated to song and by d dance d b the h team off versatile attendants, who know just how to keep you engaged and prod you to finish your meal. Like this one from a staffer: ‘If you were in Africa, your mama would have been so proud to see you fattened.’ Come weekends and patrons will be attended by staff in traditional masai costumes, when the restaurant turns into a carnival, with music and dance, drumming up the spirit of Africa. Our Savannah BBQ tryst happened on a weekday and we found a vantage seating area to savour the confluence of African bounties adorning the restaurant. With Faiza guiding our menu selections, we began our Savannah fare with ‘Bongo’, a tangy concoction created from the African fruit by the same name, as well as Karkade Juice, made from karkade flowers.

Like the Ugali one of Savannah’s signature dishes, which features a generous side dish of seafood, white polenta/cassava and tamarind and chilli sauce. If you are hungry and have a long wait before the next meal, Ugali would be the perfect pick; it is scrumptious and very, very filling. The ‘Chapati Maharagwe’ (coconut kidney bean stew, served with lamb and chapatti) is equally divine for foodies seeking newer options. And to finish off our African food trail we savoured ‘Ndizi crepe’ (fried banana crepe with ice cream and fruits), Mahambri (deep fried African pastry) and Chocolate brownies. Surgery Bariatric surgery isn’t a miracle; it is a standard surgery with the onus on the patient to maintain the weight loss and enjoy a better lifestyle
‘A Coffee Evening With Aster’, held recently at The Crafty Kitchen in Madinat Qaboos, brought home the fact that bariatric surgery isn’t a miracle, as most people would want to believe. Talking to a gathering of people seeking to learn more about the nutritional benefits and surgical solutions for obesity, Dr. Szabolcs I. Papp, Sr. Consultant Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon, Aster Al Raffah Hospital, defined obesity as a pandemic disease of our civilisation. Attributing it to overeating and over-consumption of processed food and carbohydrates, he labelled carbohydrates as a poison of the 21st century, along with junk food and carbonated drinks. While experts have propounded the benefits of weight loss surgeries at various forums, alongside the availability of inexhaustible online input on the subject, the stress is on right nutrition to not only maintain the weight loss, but also lead a comfortable life, maintained Monika Seth, Nutritionist at Aster Al Raffah Hospital.

At the interactive coffee evening, she defined Bariatric surgery as a scientific and effective way for the treatment of morbid obesity. Explaining it further, she said, “It is not a magic therapy for weight loss, but rather a tool to help the morbidly obese to lose weight to live a healthier, longer and more fulfilling life. Success of this surgery completely depends upon your commitment and your ability to follow the guidelines for diet, exercise and lifestyle changes given by your bariatric Nutritionist.
Talking on the sidelines of the Coffee Evening, Dr. Papp also noted that the decision to go in for bariatric surgery is a major one, requiring consultation and a host of tests and check-ups to rule out risks and consultations. “Patients should be aware of the different options and this evening is a
Bariatric Diet
A bariatric diet typically follows a staged approach and how quickly you can step to the next depends completely on the individuals’ response and physiology, states Monika Seth, highlighting the following facets... Purpose of Bariatric Diet: z To allow your stomach to heal without being stretched by the food you eat z To get you used to smaller portions that your stomach can comfortably handle z To help you shed those extra kilos and avoid gaining it back z To avoid any complications
way of familiarising them with all the possible options. We want people to know that it is not a miracle; it is a standard surgery with some risk of complications,” he stressed. He advises surgery for those whose overall BMI is over 40 and whose previous attempts at natural weight loss and dietary plans have failed. He is, however, aware that people are apprehensive about undertaking weight loss surgery. “But with informed consent and with patient’s awareness of the possible complications, we can design the right surgery for them, and can minimise complications,” he notes, pointing out that he has, over the last four years at Al Raffah, conducted a couple of hundred bariatric surgeries with not a single serious complication.
Health CHECK
“Having a good understanding of proper nutrition and regular exercise is critical for the success of bariatric surgery. The most important thing is to recognise a well manageable exercise regime in order to compliment your weight loss efforts, in terms of bariatric nutrition, which helps to sustain your weight loss lifelong.”
He strongly recommends patients to undertake such an operation in their respective hometowns to minimise future complications and have the presence of family and friends around during the postoperative stage. In fact, on a personal context, Dr. Papp says he never undertakes a surgery just before his leave. “I give at least 2 weeks for my patients to follow up,” he states.
Diet Dos and Don’ts z Start your bariatric nutrition pre-op. z Include more protein. z Follow the dietary guidelines given to you by your bariatric team strictly. z Drink plenty of fluids (small intake; more frequently) evenly spread throughout the day. z Eat and drink small (recommended) portions throughout the day. z Chew well and eat slowly. z Take all your multivitamins on a daily basis. z Focus on low calorie, low fat, high protein drinks and foods. z Exercise regularly and follow up with your concerned bariatric team to know your progress. z Do not overeat. z Do not smoke. z Do not drink your liquids with straw. z Do not indulge in high calorie drinks and junk foods. The Success Mantra Eat smaller portions, eat more protein, remain rehydrated and exercise regularly. You have undergone a major surgery to help achieve a healthier and a happier you and that was indeed a big decision, so now you have a commitment to a new way of life. Being healthy is a way of life and today is the day to start something new and healthy. What could be better to prevent us and our future generations from this global burning issue, when there are opportunities waiting for us right in our hands to change these trends...

explore OMAN
Lush green mountains of
Salalah
With Salalah Festival set to herald the onset of Khareef in the region, check out some of the exciting tourist spots in this wondrous receptacle of nature
S
alalah, the summer hot spot of Oman, is getting nature spruced to create the perfect environ for tourists and travellers seeking to, literally, cool their heels from the harsh summer sun in other parts of the country and the region. With the anticipated long Eid Al Fitr holidays providing the right break for a long hiatus, visitors can easily explore the vistas of Dhofar region and revel in its unique monsoon season.
Al Fazayeh Beach
Jabal Samhan is the highest point in Dhofar and opens up to some amazing views. However, the Jabal Samhan Nature Reserve is located in the remote and inaccessible eastern part of the mountain range. It is spread over an area of 4,500 square kilometres and is said to be the last refuge for the Arabian leopard. Its most important prey species are Arabian gazelle, Nubian ibex, Cape hare, rock hyrax, Indian crested porcupine, desert hedgehog and several bird species.
This is an isolated beach about 30 kilometres west of Mughsail. It has an amazing 7-kilometre shoreline, and is ideal for tourists seeking some quiet time with nature. Unlike Mughsail, this serene beach with crystal clear water is a visual delight. However, swimming may not be advisable as the currents are strong and the coast is rocky.
Ittin Plain
Al Balid Archaeological Park
Al Marneef Cave, in Shatti Al Mughsayl, is approximately 40 kilometres from Salalah. The cave is more of a cliff; it is actually an open sided sheltered area formed from eroded limestone. It is located at an altitude of a couple of feet from the ground and is accessible through stairs or walkway.
Believed to be the remains of a city once under the rule of the Queen of Sheba, this Archaeological Park features ruins of Al Balid, an ancient city known as a frankincense-trading hub, which was visited by both Marco Polo and Ibn Batuta. The Frankincense Museum, which is located on the park complex, displays different artefacts discovered in Al Balid and Sumharam ruins, alongside a section covering Omani maritime history, with models of Omani ships – both past and present.

explore OMAN Al Mughsail Beach
Located about 40kms from the city, the Mughsail Beach is one of the top attractions in Salalah. Like other beaches in and around Salalah, the coastline of Mughsail is very rough; but what makes Mughsail interesting and unique are the waves that crash through naturally formed blowholes that spurt water plumes like some thunderous fountains.
Rakyut and Dalkut
For a memorable road trip, drive to Rakyut and Dalkut; it will take you between the mountain passes and lead you through wadis that are draped in lush green trees. The wilayats of Rakhyut and Dhalkut also have a number of caves - Sharoot, Akhart, Hartoum, Shesaa, Mashloul and Asbeer.
Taqah Castle
This castle, built in the 19th century as a residence for a local leader, is one of the few castles in Dhofar. It also includes a watchtower, which is located on a hill behind the castle; however, this part of the complex is not open for visitors.
Teiq Sinkhole
The Teiq Sinkhole, nestled at the endpoint of two streams, is the third largest sinkhole in the world. It is about 975,000 cubic metres in size, 130-150 metres in diameter and about 211 metres deep. The surrounding walls of the sinkhole are extremely steep. On top of the sinkhole is the Teiq cave, which is 170,000 cubic metres in size, with six chimneys.
Wadi Dirbat
Visit Wadi Dirbat for an eyeful of green vegetation. This natural park, completely covered with lush green vegetation during khareef season, has a beautiful lake, occasional waterfalls and mountains obscured with fog. The entrance to the wadi can be spotted along the jagged cliff that extends into a stunning waterfall creating rock pools.

Go on an error free short
holiday Want to go on a short holiday this Eid Al Fitr holidays? Avoid these common short holiday mistakes, which could dampen your plans
If you are undertaking a short holiday to simply tick the destination from the bucket list of places to visit, the holiday could end up becoming an exhausting affair, especially if the three–four days are crammed with an itinerary that include all the top shopping and sight-seeing places in the area.
end up feeling jagged from the long haul, you would also be wasting your precious time up in the air or shuttling between airplanes. Opt for non-stop flights when time is a constraint. If you can’t afford one, look for destinations closer home. Best is to stick to destinations that can be accessed with a single mode of transport.
The biggest mistake would be choosing a faraway destination that requires several hours of flying, taking almost half of your holiday time. To maximise the time and make the most of your short holiday, ensure that you eliminate this and several other holiday mistakes that can take away the fun and joy from any vacation.
Do not book your hotel too far from the tourist area
Do not book a flight with multiple connections Cheaper flights are all about multiple connections, but if you fall victim to one of those schedules that require you to switch planes, you would not only

JJu June une ne 2016 201 016
When the hotel you have booked is far from all the action and the tourist spots in the destination of your choice, you will be unnecessarily spending a great deal of time travelling to and from the city. Travel experts’ advice paying a little extra to stay at a hotel near the tourist attraction than spending a large amount (of time and money) on traveling to and fro.
Avoid checking your bag in
Short holiday means fewer clothes, so there is no reason for you to go overboard with your packing. Check online for savvy packing tips so that you could easily avoid checking
Just TRAVEL your bag in. This will also save you any eventuality of lost or delayed luggage. While packing light is easy when the destination is to a warmer place, it is ideal to dress in layers, if you are travelling to colder climes. It is best to opt for T-shirts with a cardigan, which can be worn during the day and also while dining out at night.
Do not forget the changes in time zones
The first thing you need to do on arrival, and even before, is to acclimatise yourself to the new time zone. For example, if it’s night in your destination when you step on the
plane, get into a similar mood by taking a quick snooze on the flight so that you will wake up with the locals, instead of feeling like its time to sleep when you land. Do not delay your sightseeing plans, as it will help you get into the new time zone easily.
Avoid an extensive itinerary
Yes, you want to make the most of the little time you have in the new destination, but that doesn’t mean you could enjoy or even spend enough time at any place if you plan to cover several tourist spots in one day. Make a realistic plan and stick to it; you could check online for a range of travel resources and guidelines.
Do not venture out without a planned itinerary
When time is at a premium, you are better off with a well chalked out itinerary that tells you where to go and how much time to reserve for each destination. Do your homework in advance. Study the maps and find out the best routes from your hotel to the tourist attractions and also ideal stops for tasting local cuisine - if that’s a must-do item on your checklist of things to do while traveling. Also, ensure that you are not cash-strapped in the new place by carrying enough or using your ATM at the airport before you go to your hotel. Have a good holiday!

look GOOD
Summer
Hair
Pull your hair up in a bun or tie it in a knot as you get your hair styled right for the hot summer days
T
here is no letting your hair down this season - literally, not figuratively - as nothing feels more uncomfortable than hair let loose to spar with the hot air and the scorching heat.
But there is more to hair styling than simply letting it loose during winter or chopping it off in summer... With celebrities showing a trick or two and hair stylists taking the cue to create styles to suit the season, there is more than one style for every kind of hair. Check out the ones featured here and get inspired to find the one that would work best for you this season.
Knotted ponytail
To get this knotted ponytail look, begin by lightly spraying your head with a texturising spray. Then section the hair into two horizontal parts - one above the ears and one below – and follow it up by splitting the top section in half. Now tie the two halves together in a classic knot and follow by breaking the bottom section in half. Combine each side with one end of the knot. Take your two new sections and tie one final knot and finish it by wrapping a band around the base.
Double Buns
As the name suggests, it is simply about making two neat buns on the top of your head. Begin by coating your hair generously with a hair spray to smooth down your hair. Make a parting from the middle of your head and continue all the way to the nape. Secure both sides separately in low ponytails and then twist each ponytail into a snake, before coiling them up into a spiral. Use pins to hold them securely on top.

LIFESTYLE MANTRA
FESTIVE MAKEUP By Sophia Raman Braid Back
Whether you have frizzy hair or silky smooth mane, this style will work perfectly. A conditioning spray will help if you have waves or curls. Make two sections of hair and create a rope braid. You could either follow through with the braid or only have them on the crown, depending on your mood and the occasion. Use a light-hold hair spray to finish your look.
Double Dutch Braids
To get the braids just right, begin from the top of your hairline. Divide your hair down the middle and keep one side loosely tied while working the other into a braid. Remember, the Dutch braid is more like the French braid, but the hair is braided under instead of over. Continue braiding all the way to the nape before switching to a three-strand braid until you have about two inches of hair left. Follow it with the next section and ensure that both braids are even.
FEASTS ARE ALL ABOUT WEARING DRESSIER MAKEUP AND GORGEOUS CLOTHES Whether it’s a formal festive do or an office get-together, bring out your party clothes and wear makeup that flatters your look. From bejeweled tones such as sapphire, magenta and emerald for your eyes to a bolder overall look, it is all about balancing your appearance. Bolder, however, doesn’t mean louder. If office party is in order, it is best to get a subtler style by sweeping a light shadow over your eyelids. Begin by tracing the upper lash line with a jewel-toned eyeliner and follow it with one coat of black mascara. To maintain the subtle look, retain a neutral colour on your face with a flesh-toned lip-gloss and a light shade of blush. Crimson lipstick could help perfect the look. But if you are adventurous and the occasion demands it, go bold with panache. Dust a jewel-toned shadow on lids and dab a white shimmer shadow underneath the brow bone. It will help to reflect light. And if you want some contrast, line each lid with a liner that is two shades deeper than your shadow. Apply two coats of black mascara and finish it by adding a skin-toned gloss and blush. And if glamour is on your agenda, go bold red on your lips and dusky on your eyes. To make it more interesting, you could combine a sheer red lip colour with a softer eye makeup.
Gold Wraps
Have natural curls? Go for gold wrap. Depending on the volume of your hair, make four to five ponytails all over your head and secure each one with clear bands. Let the ponytails have random spacing to make it more attractive. Now wrap any gold hair accessory around the base of each ponytail and pin it in place by twisting the ends of each one.

ESQUE IT WITH ALE
THE 2017 RESORT COLLECTIONS ARE HERE! DESIGNERS WENT ALL OUT FOR THEIR RESORT COLLECTIONS, BUT MANY DISAPPOINTED, OBSERVES ALE AL ZADJALI Let’s begin with the bad, and by that I mean Louis Vuitton, Dior and Chanel. This was Nicolas Ghesquière’s third Louis Vuitton Resort show and he managed to not only disappoint in terms of the looks, but also gave us something that we have already seen; the collection in its entirety is very similar to his past collections. Personally, I’m happy he will be out soon. There is no doubt that this was clearly a collection made in haste for the simple fact that the resort deadline was closing in and they had to showcase something. But it mostly comprised of rehashed classic designs, which only tells us that they are in need of a new designer ASAP. Lastly, Chanel - Karl thinks that adding fedoras gives off a Cuban vibe. It doesn’t! It was not all bad though - Gucci impressed; it gave me bohorich-cat lady vibes and I lived for it. It was a thought-out collection and gave a sample of everything that can be seen in editorials, on the runway or just on the street. It was truly the resort collection to try and beat.

Get Your Home Ready For EID
Experience the joys of the season with a new look that celebrates the spiritual essence of the month and builds the familial connect
H
ome sprucing may not be on the top of your Eid agenda, with shopping and Iftar plans taking up all the time and effort; but, this time around, include ‘home’ in your Eid to-do list and let little additions and changes in the setup help you create the right ambience.
Light up your home
Traditional lamps or even candles have a way of altering the very ambience of your living space and even create a festive ambience. If not the entire house, plan on giving your dining table the warmth of the season with muted candlelights. If you like the idea of big candles, place them in the centre on a decorative candleholder, or opt to have small candles around your table. Candles and lamps are also effective as decorative elements in your home, if you identify the right corners to place them. String lights could come in handy to decorate specific parts of your home.

at HOME Festive elements
Like lights, little decorative elements could also provide you with a festive edge. Shop for little knick-knacks in your favourite home décor shop to infuse a feel of newness in your rooms. Traditional artefacts, available at the popular Muttrah Souq, could also go a long way in helping you create the look you want for the season.
Get kitchen smart
Make room, literally, in your kitchen for Iftar items that can be prepared ahead. Shop for fancy containers at your neighbourhood household shop to line up your kitchen counter with goodies that have long shelf life. While shopping, look for products that will help you cut cooking time and ease your workload.
Date platter
With dates becoming a staple during Ramadan, you have all the reason to bring out your fine China, so to say, to occupy your centre table with the best dates in the country. If not, shop
for a decorative jar or a wicker basket to hold the dates and also enhance the look of your table.
Iftar table
Iftar is a family affair, and it demands careful planning, not just in the items that you need to cook up, but also in setting the table to make it special for the season. And if Iftar get-togethers with friends and relatives is on the agenda, pay extra attention to add perfection to your tablesetting and show that you care. You could stick to one colour and theme all through the season or alter it to suit the cuisine planned. To keep the mood vibrant during the Iftar partaking, incorporate a few tried and tested décor elements. z
Change your every day tablecloth to match the theme chosen or go with the spiritual mood of the season with a traditional Omani designed table spread. Combine it with appropriate placemats.
z
z
z
z
If you have the inclination to sew, you could easily pick traditional Omani-patterned fabric and make a fine tablecloth. If you want to keep the look and ambience formal, choose cloth napkins over the regular paper ones. Steel tumblers may seem appropriate for everyday use, but since you are making the effort to give your season that special touch, bring out your glassware – the simple the better for the season. The same goes with your dinner set too… While silver or gold embossed sets are perfect for a formal affair, printed sets are ideal for a casual dinner. Flowers… There is nothing that fills the room with warmth and joy than a vase filled with colourful fresh flowers. Pick the ones that are long lasting so you don’t need to go flower shopping everyday.
Have a pleasant season

Renew
Family Ties Make family the centre of your Ramadan season, as traditions and customs help you explore ways and means to rebuild your family ties
W
hether you are sitting down for Iftar with your family or getting ready for the morning Fajr prayers, it is the element of togetherness that comes out starkly. For Ramadan is a season that celebrates family ties in every facet of its observances. Get into the mode of this beautiful season and replenish your family ties with some tried and tested tips and guidelines.
Now that you have established who your relatives are, find easy ways to contact them – Facebook, email, Instagram or Twitter, if you do not have their mobile numbers, that is. One contact will lead to another, and soon you will have a network of relatives on your Whatsapp.
Meet up with grandparents
To begin, ask yourself these questions: z How well do you know all your relatives? z Do you meet your grandparents often? z How many of your parents’ siblings do you know? z Do you know all your cousins?
Grandparents have so many stories to narrate. You will never be disappointed meeting up with one of them for some coffee and dates. With so much experience packed into their long life, it is bound to be a learning experience. One interesting way to go about it is to record the conversation, without making it obvious, so you have something to remember them by.
To follow up from there…
Have an Iftar gathering
Know your relatives
What better time than now to culminate all your kinship connecting work into an extended family gathering… Invite all your relatives for Iftar; encourage even those who have issues with some relatives to forget all their differences at this auspicious time. This could, after all, be the right time to thaw things between relatives who have old and unresolved issues.
Even if you do not intend to extend your kinship to all the relatives in the family, make an effort to find out who they are. Get your parents to talk about their siblings and their aunts/uncles to get you started on your ‘meet-the-relatives’ venture. No harm in trying your skills at making a family tree.

Relatively SPEAKING Connect with overseas relatives
If your grandparents are not media savvy or have no access to social media to maintain contact with relatives who are far away, take on the onus to establish that connect via video calls.
Charity begins at home Remember the clichĂŠd ‘charity begins at home’ and make a plan to give zakat to poor relatives and family members who are not as privileged as you. Check out easy options to avoid creating any unpleasant situations.
Quantity time Vs. Quality time
Now that you have got your kinship ties in place, check out if your children are receiving both quantity and quality time. While quantity time helps create a safe environment for youngsters to feel accepted, quality time is what establishes family bonding. However, both are essential in fostering family ties; as parents, it is up to you how you go about balancing both. Quantity time sets a strong home base from which children will gain confidence and mental strength. Remember more family time you create, the more opportunities that will come your way
to touch the lives of every member of the home. Some quality time activities to indulge in include creating family traditions that are unique and special only to you and your family members. It could be a cookout on a day that everyone designates as a family day, a picnic to a spot that you have discovered exclusively for your family, a movie night with projectors at home or simply a dinner at a favourite restaurant on a specific day of the year. Waste no time in strengthening your family ties

The Slicked Back Undercut
To achieve this cut perfectly, you need to have longer hair on the top so as to style it right. And since this look is about carrying off a polished look, pick a good hair product that can keep those long tresses on top in proportion with your overall cut. You could even check out a wet look product to give your cut a more structured touch.
The Side-Swept Undercut
If you are opting for the side-swept cut, you are in for a pompadour look. Even here you need to have longer locks on the top so as to keep your hair slicked. As a hair stylist advised, the key to pulling off the side swept undercut is to make sure that your hair is parted in the right way; one that suits your face. Check out which way your hair falls naturally and use it as a cue.
The Puffy Undercut
Lots of volume and lots of texture... That is what you need to make this puffy undercut seem easy. Curlier/ wavier hair types are also ideal for styling this cut, more so if you are giving it a coat of hair spray to enhance the waves. But if you have straighter hair, you could create more texture by layering your hair.
The Disconnected Undercut
This cut is all about creating a stark contrast between the top hair with the shaven sides of your hair, which is then distinguished with a line. Inspired by the 40s look, you could maintain the side part and use hair products for a sleeker look and that special retro touch.

Longboards are a popular type of skateboard for commuting, as their extra length allows them to track well in a straight line. However, one problem with them is that their long form makes them awkward to carry around when not in use. Linky solves that problem; it’s a folding electric longboard that fits inside its own bag. Developed by a group of Italian entrepreneurs, the 4.9-kg (10.8-lb) Linky features a main structure made from a high-strength polymer, combined with a deck consisting of carbon fiber on the bottom and bamboo on top. Its brushless permanent magnet motor is located in the front (driving the front wheels), and is powered by a 100-Wh lithium-ion battery pack. One 60-minute charge should be good for a range of 15 km (9 miles) at a top speed of 30 km/h (18 mph). It can be taken aboard airliners as carry-on luggage.

Smart home technology will settle into the mainstream after rival gadgets and services become hassle-free guests that get along with one another, say tech observers. Google, Amazon and Apple are vying to be at the heart of managing devices that are capable of wirelessly taking commands or feeding information. Google Home, about the size of a stout vase, is expected to hit the market later this year. Earlier this month, Google unveiled a virtual home assistant device that will challenge Amazon Echo, as the Internet giant laid out a future rich with artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, Apple has been wooing developers with a HomeKit framework for using the technology giant’s devices and Siri virtual assistant to manage smart appliances, fixtures and more.
Solar heat converted into usable light
A team of MIT researchers has for the first time demonstrated a device based on a method that enables solar cells to break through a theoretically predicted ceiling on how much sunlight they can convert into electricity. Ever since 1961 researchers have known that there is an absolute theoretical limit to how efficient traditional solar cells can be in their energy conversion. For a single-layer cell made of silicon that upper limit is about 32 percent. But it has also been known that there are some possible avenues to increase that overall efficiency, such as by using multiple layers of cells or by converting the sunlight first to heat before generating electrical power. It is the latter method, using devices known as solar thermophotovoltaics, or STPVs, that the team has now demonstrated.

CANCER
(June 20 – July 22) Look forward to a happy and successful month ahead. You are at the peak of personal power right now. Make the changes that need to be done. You are still in the middle of a yearly personal pleasure peak, which is suitable for pampering your body with a spa treatment. Your career goals have been more or less achieved, and now is the time to concentrate on the home, family and your emotional well being. You are at the right time of your year. This is, however, not such a great month for distant travel – undertake it only if you must.
Aries
Use this month to focus on the home and family and get it in the right order. It is a really good period to redecorate, paint and decorate the home. Getting the family relations right will not only allow you to improve your career, but also your love life and finances. You can improve the health situation through better diet and psychological therapies.
Taurus
Finances are expected to be very fine this month, but less of an interest than in the past two months. There is a requirement to do unorthodox things and there will be brief disturbances that will perhaps provoke you to do unorthodox things. There could be a little financial disagreement with the beloved, but that will not stop monetary excitement coming your way.
Gemini
It is a prosperous and successful month ahead, with a few minor challenges, which will only make things more interesting. All the information you need to do good
financial decisions will come to you. Happiness continues even after your financial peak. Health is good for this month and you can enhance it further with extra attention to your diet.
Leo
This is a big month to focus on spiritual studies and practices. Those of you who meditate will have better experiences. The dream life will be more active. But if you feel that spiritual practice is not practical for you, do not fret; there are other ways to find a positive impact on your career, finances and the personal appearance.
Virgo
Your love life is functional but complicated this month and you might feel as if something is missing. But love and social opportunities are happening and there is more personal power and independence. You could start creating conditions, as you want them to be and build your own happiness. July is a socially dynamic month for you.
Libra
You are becoming more objective day-byday and your personal power is increasing. If something has to be changed, do it now; if conditions are uncomfortable, develop new ones that are more comfortable for you. Health still needs attention. Spend some time in a health spa or book yourself more messages.
Scorpio
The month ahead looks happy and successful, with a few challenges thrown in to keep you on your toes. You begin the month full of energy and things will run smoothly. Health is good. Love is a little complicated, as you and your partner seem distant from each other.

Capricorn
You and the spouse/partner are not in financial agreement and this stresses the finances. This will resolve soon, but it calls for patience. You have been working hard to reach your financial goals and you may have to move the extra mile. Health still needs watching, but there will be substantial improvements.
Aquarius
If you are in a relationship, there is greater harmony with the beloved. If you are unattached, you are meeting good prospects and dating more. Your finances need attention. More care in the handling of financial transactions will minimise delays and glitches. Overall health, however, is inherently good.
Pisces
There is a need now to attain goals through consensus and cooperation rather than through unilateral direct action. It is possible to create conditions to your liking, providing you an opportunity to enjoy your life and do the things you most love to do. It is a time of intense personal creativity as well.
