ThE FErrETTI GrouP launched two of its yachts under the Riva brand, the 88 Florida and the 88 Domino Super, at the Abu Dhabi F1 GP in November. Riva’s involvement with the event was also evident through the brand being displayed on both the helmets of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team, and follows its presence at the Monaco F1 GP earlier this year, at which both the 88s were also present.

“We did not want to miss Abu Dhabi’s most important sporting event of the year at Yas Marina Circuit, which captures the attention of motorsports enthusiasts globally who have a fascination for speed and racing,” said Ferretti Group’s CEO, Alberto Galassi. “The motorsport world shares many associations with yachting, therefore we decided to stage our unveiling of the latest two models from the Riva brand at this prestigious and glamorous event.”

The 88 Florida is an open yacht and a coupé on which Riva’s typically rigorous lines and the Florida’s own elegance are made even more enticing by the yacht’s innovative ‘Convertible Top’ patented technology, derived from the automotive sector, creating the first convertible luxury motor yacht.

The 88’ Riva Domino Super’s new sundeck highlights the yacht’s sporty character, while offering guests additional comfort. For example, the outdoor pilot station has been moved to the central part of the boat and has a very limited size, thereby making room for a large sofa at the bow.
