Pershing Yachts, a division of the Ferretti Group, recently unveiled their largest and most innovative model to date, the Pershing 140. The 140 also represents the first aluminium-hulled yacht in the company’s history.
The new 140-footer is the result of the cooperation between the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, its Engineering Department, and architect Fulvio De Simoni. It will be the first Pershing yacht to be built at the Group’s Ancona boatyard, which specialises in the construction of steel and aluminium super and megayachts over 40 meters in length.
Extensive studies were carried out on the hull, partially drawing inspiration from military models, to create an innovative hull that would guarantee performance values up to the owners’ expectations. The Pershing 140 is expected to be launched in 2018.
