Who does not want to own a Ferrari? There are few people who would claim not to be interested in slipping behind the wheel of their very own luxury model and burning rubber on the tarmac. We at Hadag are certainly amongst those who would not kick such a vehicle out of our garage and were excited, as always, to see what Ferrari has to offer. Thanks to Ferrari Bahrain, we were given the opportunity to experience the visually stunning GTC4Lusso T and we soaked up ever minute of the occasion.

Designed by Ferrari’s Styling Centre, the GTC4Lusso T has an extremely streamlined and tapered shape that gives it an almost fastback-like silhouette. Its lines and curves flow effortlessly along its body, displaying the attention given to every aerodynamic detail of the vehicle. The exterior design is so beautifully constructed that it is easy to forget that this is in fact a four-door motorcar. At just under five meters long, just under two meters wide and weighing in at one and three-quarter metric tons, this car is certainly no toy and we were most anxious to see what this mechanical marvel was capable of on the roads. This luxury vehicle continued to impress as its interior revealed an effortless merging of sophisticated elegance, superb occupant comfort and sportiness. All of the materials, stitching and trimmings are of premium quality and the layout of all the controls are relatively user friendly, with many of them being located on the magnificently designed steering wheel. The GTC4Lusso T features unique Dual Cockpit architecture, designed to enhance the shared driving experience for both driver and passenger. It also incorporates the latest interaction of the infotainment system complete with an impressive 10.25” HD capacitive touchscreen. The rear seating offers ample knee and head room and would provide comfortability for an adult on a relatively long road trip. The boot is reasonably sized and does offer a respectable compartment for luggage, made much larger by the folding down of the rear seats. The most impressive aspect of a Ferrari however, should always be its performance and the GTC4Lusso T did not fail to live up to this demand. As soon as its 3.9-litre V8 engine was engaged, the noise alone was enough to excite us all. This excitement rose to a fever pitch as the car surged from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds! This motor vehicle’s maximum power output is 610 cv at 7500 rpm, while the maximum torque of 760 Nm is available between 3000 and 5250 rpm. This translates to a maximum speed of 320 km/h. This power is kept in check by the vehicle’s smooth handling, ample traction and impressive breaking system. There were moments in which we realised we were holding our breath as the GTC revealed its performance capabilities to us. In truth, there are too many features and components of this vehicle relating to performance, control, safety and design to mention here and one would need to own one of these vehicles for a length of time in order to fully appreciate what it has to offer.

What we have not yet mentioned about this truly amazing piece of machinery is that it was, in fact, pre-owned. Ferrari Bahrain have made this elite brand slightly more accessible and affordable through their Ferrari pre-owned certification programme. Ferrari Approved cars are always monitored and in perfect condition, as shown by the GTC4Lusso T we test drove. The programme comprises of a series of 190 individual checks and several guarantees including, detailed technical inspection by Ferrari technicians, verification of origin and maintenance history, presale preparation of the exterior and interior, a Ferrari guarantee of up to 24 months as well as Ferrari roadside assistance for up to 24 months. All of this takes place in compliance with Ferrari standards of safety, performance and reliability.

All-in-all, we were not only hugely impressed by the design and performance features of this car, but also by Ferrari Bahrain itself and their Ferrari Approved initiative.
