Roedor herbívoro, de pelaje largo y tupido de color amarillento, cola larga, peluda y de grandes orejas. Habita en laderas escarpadas donde toma sol sobre las rocas. Ha sido capaz de sobrevivir en el altiplano bajo condiciones extremas, lo que muestra su adaptabilidad.
Herbivore rodent, with long and thick yellowish fur, long tail, hairy and big ears. Dwells on steep slopes where it does sunbathing on the rocks. Es un anfibio de los bosques templados de Chile y Argentina. De pequeño tamaño, fue descubierta por el biólogo Charles Darwin. es una especie cingular, que Utiliza su vientre blanco y negro, para confundir a los depredadores, cuando se siente amenazada, salta hacia atrás y cae de espaldas, dejando al descubierto esa extraña coloración, dejando perplejos a sus depredadores.
Es una de las aves más conocidas del planeta. En Chile, se encuentra desde el norte hasta el sur, es común verlo caminar lentamente y deteniéndose repentinamente dando un rápido picotazo capturando una lombriz o un insecto en el pasto. Hacen sus nidos de huevos azules, son bastantes grandes y forrados con pasto y barro.
IIs an amphibian of warm forests from Chile and Argentina. It is of teeny size and was discovered by the biologist Charles Darwin. It is one of the most unique and enigmatic species in the world. Uses its black and white belly, to confuse its predators.as when it feels threatened, it jump back and fall backward , revealing the strange coloration , leaving its predators perplex.
It is one of the best known birds in Chile and the world. In Chile is found from north to the south, around fields, meadows and farmlands. Also in squares and city parks. It is common to see it walking slowly and stopping suddenly with a quick peck and to catch a worm or an insect in the grass. Each male has its musical repertoire which he plays in the twilight. They nest is made of quite large blue eggs which are lined with grass and mud.

Es un cazador nocturno, de hábitos arborícolas que alimenta de roedores, pequeños marsupiales, perdices, palomas, insectos, e incluso. Es una especie vulnerable pudués. Es una especie vulnerable protegida.
Habita en campos y zonas urbanas. En Chile, está en todas las regiones, desde Arica a Tierra del Fuego. Posee una gran capacidad de adaptación y habita en el campo o en algún escondite oscuro. Es un ave solitaria, pasa el día durmiendo y durante la noche, sale y se alimenta de mamíferos pequeños, aves e insectos.

Pertenece a la familia Cervidae, habita en la cordillera de los Andes de Chile y Argentina. Solo el Huemul macho posee cornamenta, y esta es cambiada todos los años, se desprende a comienzos de invierno y en primavera comienza el crecimiento de una nueva.
Herbívoro rumiante Cervidae, vive en el bosque, escondido entre los matorrales, entre la cordillera de la Costa de la zona de Curicó hasta Aysén. Único, suave, tímido y miedoso, pasa el día escogido, y sólo sale de noche en busca de su alimento. Es muy solitario y a veces, los machos se desplazan con su única pareja. Se alimenta de hierbas silvestres.
Existen 4 subespecies en Chile. El chingue posee un tamaño de 70 cm. Su cuerpo es robusto y más afinado en su cola, posee su hocico alargado y prominente con orejas y patas cortas y con fuertes uñas. Sus hábitos de vida lo hacen ser un animal nocturno, generalmente solitario y omnívoro. Capaz de crear su propia cueva, pero prefiere emplear la de otros animales. Se le reconoce por el fuerte olor que expele como forma de protección.

Mamífero que pesa unos 300 kg, el doble que las hembras. Posee una capa de pelo castaño rojizo sobre el cuello y vive en colonias formadas por el macho, su harén, y unos pocos jóvenes. Durante la época de reproducción, los machos entran en combate por el control de su territorio y por las hembras. Viven entre 25 y 50 años.
Mocha Dick enigmático cachalote albino del siglo XIX. Para los lafkenches, es parte de su leyenda Tempulcahue. A menudo era encontrado en las aguas cercanas a la Isla Mocha (Nemulafken), al sudoeste de Chile. Mucho se ha escrito sobre el prodigioso tamaño y fuerza del cetáceo. Se cree hundió barcos como el Ballenero Essex en 1820 y que era capaz de hacer naufragar pequeñas embarcaciones con su aleta caudal. Inspiró la obra maestra de Herman Melville Moby Dick.
La tonina es un delfin pequeño y robusto ademas del delfin mas pequeño del mundo. Sus aletas son redondeadas y mide aproximadamente unos 165 cm. Pesan unos 55 kg. y las hembras suelen ser mas grandes que los machos. Viven en pequeños grupos entre dos a diez individuos, estos llegan a vivir hasta 20 años. Se pueden ver desde valparaiso hasta Cabo de Hornos.

El lince boreal es un mamífero carnívoro, de los bosques europeos y siberianos. Esta especie es la de mayor tamaño de la familia Felidae, mide entre 80 y 130cm de largo. Característico por su cola muy corta y por sus pelos negros en el extremo de sus orejas, los que aumentan su capacidad de audición. Es un excelente trepador y saltador, siendo un aventurero por naturaleza.
Este imponente mamífero es el más grande entre los ciervos en el mundo. Habita los bosques de Norteamérica y Eurasia. Aparte de su enorme tamaño, su principal característica son las grandes astas que poseen los machos, las de mayor tamaño en el mundo, y llegan a pesar hasta 20 kilogramos, desprendiéndolas cada año para posteriormente volver a crecer.

Este espectacular carnívoro, habita en el medio polar y zonas heladas del Hemisferio Norte considerado el único superdepredador del ártico. Se distingue por sus orejas y cola reducidas,sus patas que le permiten caminar y nadar largas distancias. Curiosamente, el pelaje del oso polar no es blanco, más bien presenta una ausencia de coloración y por reflejo del sol la vemos de esa tonalidad. This spectacular carnivore inhabits the polar and icy areas of the Northern Hemisphere considered the only super predator of the Arctic.
