Miles English – Puddletown Games & Puzzles (Portland, OR)
puddletowngames.com | @puddletowngames
“My name is Miles and I recently started my first business – a small hobby board game and puzzle store in Portland. I have been in retail for nearly my whole life. As a kid I worked in grocery stores; in college I worked at Pottery Barn. The bulk of my adult resume has been motorcycle parts sales.
“I managed a very large hobby game store in Portland for about six months before I decided that I’d like to stop working for someone else. On the eve of my 50th birthday, I worked my last day there and started work on my own shop the following day – May 15th, 2021. I know lots about retail but I also know that there’s a ton I don’t know. I’m super excited at this opportunity to improve my knowledge.”
