Namta Mural Project Kickoff
Reception
Blake Barrios at the Welcome
Saturday, April 1, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Regency Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Columbus
Blake Barrios, an artist who works with oil paints to create one-of-a-kind, hand-painted glass bottles, is the guest speaker at the Welcome Reception. A philanthropist at heart, Blake often collaborates with non-profit foundations, musicians, athletes, and vintners, among others, to create a bottle that will fetch the highest bid from discerning connoisseurs; art critics; notable musicians like Snoop Dogg, Sir Paul McCartney, and Santana; and more. Blake has worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Orangewood Foundation, and Make Yourself Foundation (promoted by the band Incubus), to name just a few. He and California winemaker Jon Keyes continue to expand their collaboration in the world of wine and art – and philanthropy – with Rebellium Wines. Blake will be in the NAMTA booth #343 where there will be a silent auction for one of his painted wine bottles. Proceeds benefit NAMTA’s Art Advocacy program.
Live on the show floor in the Namta booth #343
In an effort to leave our mark on our host cities and partner with local community groups, Namta is thrilled to kick off our inaugural mural project at Creativation by Namta 2023. A mural will be painted in collaboration with Directions for Youth and Families (DFYF) and thanks to the contributions of generous sponsorships/ donations. Stop by the booth to make a donation to DFYF, paint part of the mural and learn more about Directions for Youth and Families and its good works.
