VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP
The commitment of our dedicated volunteers plays an essential role at FAIS. Not only do our volunteers model responsible, service-oriented behavior to our students; they are the wheels that keep so many of our traditions alive. Our volunteers serve in classrooms, recruit and welcome new families, and coordinate events that strengthen our community. Thank you to ALL of our volunteers. Your wholehearted dedication to FAIS is so greatly appreciated.
ANNUAL FUND VIRTUAL COMMUNITY GATHERING FÊTE DU VIN
The Annual Fund is the School’s most critical fundraising effort and ensures that our school has the resources necessary to advance our mission. Each gift goes to support the greatest need of the School, so that we can continue to provide dynamic opportunities and experiences to all our students. Gifts to the Annual Fund are 100% tax deductible.
Chair: Jennifer Martindale The Annual Gala is our largest community building and philanthropic event. This year, we transitioned our in-person gala to a Virtual Community Gathering featuring our incredible student art projects. Our special appeal supported fi nancial aid and a teacher/ staff appreciation fund, and raised over $150,000!

PARENT LIAISON COMMITTEE
The Parent Liaison Committee serves as the link between home and school for FAIS families. Monthly meetings with the Lower School and Middle School Division Heads provide an opportunity to stay informed while connecting with other parents. The Parent Student Connection (PSC) represents the Middle School. The Fun Committee, which plans all-school community events, also operates within PLC.

DANCE FOR THE ARTS
The Run for the Arts program, organized by the non-profi t Young Audiences, combines physical activity and the arts! Students gather “sponsors” among their family and friends, and donations support arts, music and theater workshops, performances, classes and events on campus. This year, we hosted a virtual “Dance” for the Arts!
