VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP The commitment of our dedicated volunteers plays an essential role at FAIS. Not only do our volunteers model responsible, service-oriented behavior to our students; they are the wheels that keep so many of our traditions alive. Our volunteers serve in classrooms, recruit and welcome new families, and coordinate events that strengthen our community. Thank you to ALL of our volunteers. Your wholehearted dedication to FAIS is so greatly appreciated.
The Annual Fund is the School’s most critical fundraising effort and ensures that our school has the resources necessary to advance our mission. Each gift goes to support the greatest need of the School, so that we can continue to provide dynamic opportunities and experiences to all our students. VIRTUAL COMMUNITY GATHERING The Annual Gala is our largest community building and philanthropic event. This year, we transitioned our in-person gala to a Virtual Community Gathering featuring our incredible student art projects. FÊTE DU VIN Each fall, this wine event celebrates the rich culture and growing talent of Portland’s food and wine community. Bringing together the incredible flavors of Oregon’s best wineries and local ingredients, the event unites the diverse and progressive community that surrounds the school.
