Giving you unlimited travel around Cornwall on buses, trains and ferries all year round.* The Fal Mussel Card UNI is YOUR way to get unlimited anytime travel on all First Kernow bus services, the Maritime Train Line between Falmouth and Truro and a selection of ferries that crisscross the Fal River*. Not only does it give you unlimited travel on the U1, U2 & U3 university campus bus services, but it also allows you to explore the whole of Cornwall in a way no other university can offer. The card started in 2014 with the university wanting a clear way of allowing students to maximise their time at university as well as reducing the amount of cars brought on to campus due to the limited parking. The card was quickly thought up and with a unique collaboration between Fal River Cornwall, First Kernow Buses and Great Western Railway, the Fal Mussel Card UNI was born. Normal commercial rates for travel passes on all of these services would cost the user in excess of £2,600! The card represents great value to students and staff at the university at only £465 for a whole year! You can choose to pay in full for the card when you sign up or you can pay in three instalments at the start of each term to spread the cost. The card also gives you a range of discounts in local attractions, bars, shops and cafes around the area. To purchase a Fal Mussel Card UNI go to: www.falriver.co.uk/uni Got a question? Drop us an email at fmcu@falriver.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help.
