DEAR FANS WELCOME TO THE 2014 FAMILY CIRCLE CUP!
The 42nd edition promises to be as exciting as ever with two- time defending Champion and World No.1, Serena Williams, returning to defend her crown. In fact, Serena is undefeated during her last three visits to Daniel Island, located in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Will she claim her fourth Cup victory, or will a new face on the scene make the Family Circle Cup their break out event? We are as excited as you are to watch all of the drama unfold. Please use this guide to plan your visit with us. In addition to world-class tennis, we try to bring a little bit of Charleston to life through our fantastic food and drink offerings, live music, weeklong promotions and activities. For those visiting from out of town, we hope you also take time to explore Daniel Island, as well as the beautiful city we call home. Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards named Charleston “Top U.S. City” for the third consecutive year. The city features some of the world’s best restaurants, shopping, beaches and attractions. Whether you are attending for the first time, or returning for your 42nd Family Circle Cup, your overall experience at the Cup is of the utmost importance. Our staff, along with more than 400 of the best volunteers, strive to make your visit with us a memorable one. Every day you will be greeted by a smiling face and a little bit of Southern hospitality! On behalf of the entire Family Circle Cup team, thank you for your support and enjoy the week!
