What would help you support your child’s mental health? Dear All This extra news may not be for everyone – but if you have a child or young person with anxiety, depression, autism, adhd or any kind of mental health or neurological condition, read on… Let's start with the acronyms: CCG = Clinical Commissioning Group CAMHS = Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services CAMHS Transformation Plan = a local CCG’s plan to spend additional funding from central government over a five year term (2015-2020) to improve local mental health services for children and young people. So… what’s this all about? In Richmond (and around the country) CCG’s are continually refreshing and reworking their Transformation Plans to make the best use of the available funding. With resources getting scarcer, it could be worth providing parents and carers will more skills to help them support themselves, their child or their young person. This very short survey asks What Would Help You? And comes from Richmond CCG. The link is here: http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/CAMHSparentsurvey/ The survey closes on 28th October 2017. As ever, if you have any queries at all, please ask and we'll always do our best to find an answer.
