2015 sees five brand new shapes being added to the ProWave line, ranging from 7’6” to 9’2”. The 7’6” is impeccably balanced, easy to paddle and with quick acceleration. Once unleashed onto a wave it speaks for itself. The well regarded 9’6” and 9’10” make up the rest of the range to create the most extreme high performance Waveriding collection ever! The AllWave epitomises smooth Surfing. Coming in six sizes and available in LTD construction, three fresh new shapes, 7’11”, 8’3”and 8’5” have been added to the range. The thinner board and lower volume is supported outstandingly by the shorter, wider compact outline for a responsive and effortless ride. Our Fanatic Waveriding heroes Kai Bates, Kyron Rathbone, Luke Egan and young Christian Andersen have been dominating the competition circuit and collectively add huge value aiding the R&D process behind these magnificent boards.

The Falcon and Falcon Flatwater make up our competitive Raceboard lines. The winning design of the Falcon has been enhanced for 2015. With two brand new shapes in the 29.75” width and four adapted models, the Falcon is faster and more stable than ever. The 12’6” sees the elimination of the cutting bow and integration of a round, domed profile for our new non-catching design. The 14’0” sees a drop shape Pintail outline with increased nose width and volume. A smooth tail and nose rocker combine into a continuous curve accentuating clean water release in paddle motion. The Falcon is the board of choice for Race winning athletes such as Jake Jensen (3rd SUP World Series Overall 2013), Angela Jackson (Vice World Champ SUP World Series & ISA World Champ 2013), Kai-Nicolas Steimer, Paul Jackson, Arthur Arutkin & Olivia Piana. They have all been dominating the international competitions across the globe. The Falcon Flatwater sees us extend our Race collection with four additional SUP’s. From marathon paddles to morning glides, these all-round Raceboards convert strokes into distance, effortlessly.

The perfect blend of Cruiser and Raceboard, the Ray has immense glide and is available in two sizes, 11’0” and 12’0” ensuring something for everyone. In 2015 we are enhancing its ease of movement through the water and giving it an all-round smoother appearance through softening the deck edge of the rail. Drawing inspiration from our Race Series, the smooth curves from the tail and nose rocker release water fluidly, leaving your paddle stroke uninterrupted. A SUP that fuses stability with performance, the Ray will take you on your adventures effortlessly under paddle with a appealing brand new look too.

2015 sees some performance-enhancing and userfriendly changes being introduced into the supreme inflatable range. Premium boards are stiffer and thicker overall which is especially highlighted in the smaller sizes 9’0” and 10’0”. The new and improved Bravo SUP3 Double Action pump has a crafty switch so you can choose between single or double stroke for a more efficient output. Also new anatomical backpacks come with the inflatables. The Viper Air joins the Inflatable range and is without a doubt the most desirable inflatable WindSUP ever and means fun for the whole family. Double Layer technology makes it light and tough, ideal for new Windsurf enthusiasts as well as schools and clubs. We have also added two kids models to the range so everybody can take pleasure in ease of use. The 10’0” is based around our new Falcon design. A wide tail provides stability and balance with responsive turning capabilities. The 7’10” is the ultimate inflatable with optimum size and width creating a stable platform for first timers but also fun in small waves.

OCEAN MINDED Fanatic has an Ocean Minded ethos; protect what you love, which is why every board proudly displays the Fanatic Ocean Minded logo. We promise to build boards for a greener environment, using ethically sourced and sustainable raw materials wherever possible. 2013 saw us to become one of the few brands to use eco-friendly Cork, which we continue to use for 2015. Although much of the board construction industry still relies on toxic and harmful products for the building process, Fanatic does everything possible to offset our Carbon footprint. Our mission is to improve our manufacturing process by constantly fine tuning and researching our construction techniques, packaging materials and distribution method – all for a fresh Fanatic future.

CAD SHAPING Sebastian Wenzel has achieved great things in his shaping career and with over a decade of CAD experience under his belt, there is no question that he is one of the leading experts on computer aided board design. CAD shaping provides board builders with a platform to accomplish unprecedented levels of precision in the designs they produce and Sebastian does just that. CAD also allows us to store every board built since 2004 on a digital database so we can evolve, push boundaries and innovate, rather than recreate. Sebastian´s decades of board building knowledge and experience is funnelled into every design created. Through Sebastian´s lead and the collaboration of every Fanatic team member, we continue to build on our already existing library of facts, figures, successful shapes, proven rocker lines, volume flows and rail lines. As we advance it´s clear to see that Fanatic CAD shaping techniques work as our SUP boards keep getting better. FACT.

Top quality, high spec Biax Carbon has an impeccable weight to stiffness ratio, including a fantastic dynamic flex as result of its very fine weave. Used for all Falcon 12’6” and 14’0” models, maximum stiffness, along with a new matt finish optic, results in maximum weight savings.

A lightweight, yet robust, wood and glass fibre construction gives a great strength to weight ratio and combined with some extra glass reinforcements absorbs high impact forces. The outcome is a very durable layup with a lightweight and unique wooden deck visual.

High Resistance Composite Technology, is a lightweight and durable construction for everyday use. Strategic use of glass reinforcements ensures adequate stiffness, while a thick, strong outer skin gives the board's hull phenomenal strength, plus extra ding and impact resistance. Used on the ProWave HRS, AllWave HRS, Fly HRS, Falcon HRS as well as the Ripper (here with a child friendly SoftDeck).

The Pure Technology is an exceptionally durable and featherweight construction for frequent use. Glass reinforcements ensure an optimum stiffness, while a thick, durable outer skin gives the board's hull great strength, with extra ding and impact resistance.

Prime performance with your ProWave. 2015 sees the ProWave range take SUP wave riding to the next level, with shapes that complement a rider's search for radical manoeuvres, speed and control. This year we introduce five brand new shapes ranging from 7’6” to 9’2” while the well regarded 9’6” and 9’10” make up the rest of the range to create the most extreme high performance wave riding collection. The smallest SUP in the Fanatic range, the 7’6”, is impeccably balanced and easy to paddle with quick acceleration. Once unleashed onto a wave it speaks for itself giving you an exceptionally responsive ride. The wider nose and squash tail design of the range offers more stability in the smaller models, whilst retaining highly responsive turning capabilities in the larger ones. A thinner rail profile provides more grip and drive through the turn. The 9’6” has enough evenly distributed volume to carry any rider weight while delivering Shortboard SUP performance. The 9’10” Semi-Gun is a slightly stretched version of the 9’9”, designed for speed and charging big waves. It was the first SUP to conquer Shipstern’s Bluff / Tasmania! A Quad or Thruster fin setup gives you the ultimate flexibility to adapt the board to your style of riding or the conditions of the day. A subtly domed deck and a balanced volume distribution provide optimum paddling efficiency and ease for catching waves. Riding down the line, the ProWave performs with outstanding flow making light work of BIG conditions. Mastfoot insert for Windsurfing option.

K E Y FE AT U RES : ‣‣ Shortboard /performance nose outline and performance squash tail

‣‣ Pulled down thin rails for maximum carving ‣‣ Hard release edges in the tail and softer in the nose ‣‣ Slightly domed deck for maximum stability blending seamlessly into the thin rails ‣‣ Single concave entry, transitioning into a single / double concave mid section through to the tail, enhancing speed and lift ‣‣ The new bottom and rail shape provides ultimate grip allowing for smaller fins ‣‣ Real surf scoop rocker line with added nose kick, to prevent any nose diving ‣‣ Quad / Thruster fin setup with 5 Futures boxes ‣‣ CAD designed and analysed ‣‣ Mastfoot insert for Windsurfing option

Available in two constructions Innegra Carbon PVC Sandwich & HRS. With exciting yet predictable attributes, 2015 sees three fresh new shapes, 7’11”, 8’3” & 8’5” being added to the range. The thinner board and lower volume of these three sizes are supported outstandingly by the shorter, wider compact outline making for a responsive and effortless ride. The versatile option: the board can be set up as a Quad or Thruster. Combined with a modified base and thinner rails, optimum grip and carving ability is ensured. The larger 8’11”, 9’1”, 9’5”, 9’10” sizes have a ›wider around the centre‹ outline. This, combined with a more pulled-in nose and squash tail offers plenty more stability, adding performance with less swing weight. Whatever fuels your fire, these boards offer friendly accessibility whilst maintaining excellent manoeuvrability on the wave. A true surfing scoop rocker line and added nose kick finishes off the AllWave’s top performance. The LTD versions of the AllWave come with the Quad fin setup option. For windsurfing, the mastbase insert makes for straightforward attachment of a sail, adding to the fun and versatility. The concept of the AllWave enables across the board performance for all SUP riders, performing remarkably well in all conditions. Whether you’re looking to catch your first wave or advance into larger surf, through its balanced shape, this range is undoubtedly the ultimate tool for enjoyment, ease and progression.

FLY PU RE 9 ’6”

FLY 11'0”

If you are a lighter person and you still want to enjoy the allround performance of the Flys, the 9.6 in our favourite Pure Technology is your choice. Designed with plenty of width the 9.6 even allows first timers to enjoy their first SUP session and will take them up the skill ladder with time to show its full potential.

A true all rounder, the Fly 11'0” is a naturally adaptable board with high performance aspects that really matter. Offering endless glide in a compact and balanced design, the pronounced V and pintail provides smooth, engaging carving sensations while the surfing rocker line will have you cruising onto the waves first. Resembling shape and characteristics of the 10’6”, it has outstanding float and stability making it suitable for both light and heavier beginner paddlers. Available in High Resistance Skin and Pure construction this really is THE board for all. Comes with mastfoot insert for optional Windsurfing.

For heavier more advanced paddlers the 9’6“ can be the ultimate allround performance board to carve and ride down the line. Classic style surfing or progressive Stand Up Paddling, what ever your preferred style is, the 9’6“ will help you to put it on display. Comes with mast foot insert for optional Windsurfing.

FLY 10’0” The Fly 10'0” is the quintessential SUP for lighter to middleweight riders looking to kick off in their first waves or tackle big surf. Great turning ability and speed comes from the classic pintail shape, while the lower entry rocker will have you cruising effortlessly into every wave you desire. Featuring a deluxe deck pad and plenty of V in the tail, this ten-footer resembles a much smaller board, is lighter underfoot and easy to manoeuvre driving through turns. For optimum performance set up the Fly for all water conditions using the Tri fin cluster. Spoilt for choice, the 10’0” is also available in the high-performance, feather light Wood Edition, as well as the HRS and standard Pure construction. Comes with mastfoot insert for optional Windsurfing.

FLY 11’6” Expand your watersport horizons with the Fly 11’6”, the all-time entry board to both the Windsurfing and SUP world. Easy from the word GO! – this board is suitable for any size and style of rider. Whether days bring breeze or glassy waters, an adventure can be created with this highly durable package. Optimum upwind ability when windsurfing is generated through the sealable centre fin or use as a standalone SUP shape without. The 11’6” is undoubtedly the answer to a SUP / Windsurf combo. The CAD design shape features a genuine surfing rocker line catching waves easily and providing you with maximum balance and stability. Both models are available in High Resistance Skin (HRS) or Pure construction. Endless riding is to be had with the multi-tasking 11'6”, so all you have to do is decide whether you're going to SUP or sail.

FLY 10’6” & 10’6” WB If you are a heavier rider or your local spot regularly presents you with variable conditions, then the 10’6” will provide you with the extra support and stability you need. For 2015 we have added the new HRS WB 10’6” with 5l more volume and an extra 1 inch in width to give you even more stability and float. The combination of softer rails towards the front and sharper edges on the tail, enhances grip and carve through turns, all the while maintaining that highly sought after glide. A more pronounced curve in the tail, teamed perfectly with a flatter nose rocker, offers direct turning and smooth paddling. Well balanced and wide volume distribution, combined with the flat deck gives a great deal of stabilised buoyancy. Available in a lightweight Wood Edition for high performance, or the HRS and standard Pure constructions, the 10’6” is a great all-rounder that can be shared amongst family and friends of all levels. Comes with mastfoot insert for optional Windsurfing (only 10’6” WB comes without). The Fly 10´6“ WB is available in HRS and Pure technology.

K E Y FE AT U RES : ‣‣ New 9’6” Pure shape available with added volume and width for extra buoyancy and stability ‣‣ New 10’6” HRS & Pure WB shape with added volume and width for extra buoyancy and stability ‣‣ CAD sculpted balance flow curves ‣‣ True surfing rocker line with a flat into full V bottom for engaging carving sensations off the tail ‣‣ Low nose entry for effortless wave catching and glide ‣‣ Flat deck with volume width on rails for stability ‣‣ Soft rails and sharp tail edges for smooth power riding and drive through the turns ‣‣ All boards except the 10’6” WB have mastfoot insert for Windsurfing option

For 2015 we have created the perfect blend of Cruiser and Raceboard. With immense glide and available in two sizes, we now have something for everyone. The Ray has been modified to enhance its ease of movement through the water. Softening the deck edge of the rail by pulling it flush into the top of the board, has given an all-round smoother appearance and is ultimately more user-friendly. The stretched outline, stabilising square tail and generous nose width, maximise the waterline. Taking inspiration from our Race Series, the smooth curves from the tail and nose rocker release water fluidly leaving your paddle stroke uninterrupted. Fresh new graphics in two technologies (Wood Edition and Pure) make the Ray the perfect cruiser! As the sharp bow cuts efficiently through the water, the pulledu p profile prevents nose diving and the extra volume in the rails ensures you a dry and stable ride. For freedom of adventure cruising, net-fixing inserts are attached for carrying any equipment. And … if that’s still not enough for you, a mastfoot insert for optional Windsurfing is available, thereby adding more fun to your time on the water. The SUP Race fin has a new outline concept and more rake to avoid catching weed. The slimmer profile provides better dynamics and efficient water flow. Light and robust RTM technology, developed by our Australian R&D crew in cooperation with Choco Fins. A SUP that fuses stability with performance, the Ray will take you anywhere effortlessly under paddle. Newcomers and advanced paddlers alike will revel in this stylish looking cruiser on lakes or on the sea.

The Falcon lends itself to one thing: Speed. This winning design that has taken 2013 Vice World- and ISA Champion Angela Jackson across finish lines at lightning speeds, has been enhanced for 2015. It is also the SUP of choice for team riders Jake Jensen (3rd SUP World Series Overall 2013), Olivia Piana, Arthur Arutkin and Paul Jackson, who dominate in international competitions across the globe. Made up of two brandnew designs and four modified shapes, the Falcon is faster and more stable than ever. Reducing the height and angle of the deck spine in the nose, enhances the aerodynamics of the board. The smooth bow design ensures that the nose never dives or develops any self-steering. Following along these lines we have an optional increase to 29.75 cm in width for both the 12’6” and 14’0”, thus making the Falcon more adaptable to your racing preferences. With the already internationally established SUP race scene still rapidly growing, Fanatic has injected a huge amount of effort developing and fine tuning four modified models and two brand new shapes in the 29.75”. The 12’6” sees the elimination of the cutting bow and integration of a round, domed profile for our new non-catching design. The flat angled deck is shaped for a secure, solid stance and efficient water dispersal. The 14’0” sees a drop shape pintail outline with increased nose width and volume. A smooth tail and nose rocker combine into a continuous curve accentuating clean water release in paddle motion. Our innovation has seen volume being pulled all the way to the rails which, combined with the sharp release edges in the centre, creates mind blowing amounts of stability allowing us to reduce the overall width, which is paramount to riders when racing. Extensive testing was conducted worldwide to ensure the new shapes perform outstandingly in all water conditions. The Falcon's ability to cruise over choppy ocean swell without interruption of speed is faultless. Special attention was paid to establish straightforward, easy foot steering in cross-wind and chop. With the wind behind you the Falcon truly comes into its own, magically rising out of the water as you gather speed, with furtherer acceleration down the face, and then flawlessly up and over the next wave. The SUP Race fin has a new outline concept and more rake to avoid catching weed. The slimmer profile provides better dynamics and efficient water flow. Light and stable RTM technology with new sizes of 19.5 cm and 22 cm make sure each Falcon is matched with the perfect sized fin. Developed by our Australian R&D crew in cooperation with Choco Fins. The ultimate performer in anything from flat water, to chop and epic downwinders. The Falcon will get you there first.

K E Y FE AT U RES : ‣‣ Drop shape outline, stabilising square tail and increased nose width ‣‣ Flat angled deck shape for a secure stance and water release, less volume around the rail ‣‣ Rounded domed nose ‣‣ Hard release edges from centre to tail for maximum stability and clean water release ‣‣ New non-catching bow design ‣‣ Clean open deck for easy manoeuvring and kick turns ‣‣ CAD analysed surfaces and curve flow ‣‣ 12’6”: Smooth tail and nose rocker combining into a continuous curve for clean water release in paddle motion ‣‣ 14’0”: Drop pintail outline with increased nose width

With the ever growing circuit of pure, flat water racing, Fanatic offers four real flat water Raceboard models. From marathon paddles to morning glides, those all-round race shapes convert strokes into distance effortlessly. After a very intensive R&D process that took place for well over a year, those four shapes will allow our team riders to dominate across all areas of SUP Racing. Revolving around our successful concept of Open Water designs, the main feature of ›ease in all conditions‹, was the foundation for the new boards. Our goal was to create a board that would be the fastest on flat water, yet capable in chop, a situation race riders are often confronted with. Teamed with innovation and hot design the Flatwater Falcon is available in our high-tech Carbon Technology, so racers can focus on the competition as the board takes care of itself.

K E Y FE AT U RES : ‣‣ A slightly curved scoop rocker line from tail to nose for a clean water release ‣‣ Narrow, parallel outlines for the best combination of speed, low drag and stability ‣‣ Wide tail allows for quick kick turning and additional stability ‣‣ Cutting bow combined with open ocean design for neutral paddling ‣‣ Flat bottom shape for stability, quick planing and neutral behaviour of the board ‣‣ Sharp release edges from centre to tail for clean water release ‣‣ Flat V-deck shape in the standing area for maximum wide stance and quick water drainage ‣‣ New lower volume curve in the nose to avoid side wind pushing and reduced nose weight

KAUAI H A W A I I

Paddling right underneath such a huge waterfall is a unique and fascinating experience! When my girlfriend Femke and myself set up for the trip from Maui to Kauai, we included a Fly Air last second, as we only had carry-on luggage, so we just checked the Fly Air as a normal bag. Once we were there, it was so cool to have it. The first day we went paddling through the lagoons on the north shore with our snorkel gear strapped on the deck, the second day we went to check out this waterfall. When we saw it from up next to the road, I knew we have to get down there. I got the Fly Air out of the trunk, we added our picnic to it and hiked down a small trail through the jungle. You couldn’t really paddle super close, as the impact of all this water coming down from about 150 feet produces such wind and spray, that it just blows you back into safe distance naturally. Such a cool way to experience the power of nature! TEXT BY KL A AS VOGET

If you think of a city as a perfect SUP spot, the North German metropolis Hamburg for sure is one of the ideal places. No wonder, that three of our top riders Kai-Nicolas Steimer, Klaas Voget and Paulina Herpel chose to live there. Harbour, downtown or just solitary nature – in Hamburg it’s all located just one paddle stroke from each other. To paddle downtown for a quick drink or coffee is no problem at all! With 2500 bridges Hamburg is number one in Europe’s capital cities (i.e. Venice has only 400). And where bridges are, you can also find water underneath – the perfect playground for SUP. The canals go right through the center as well as parks, passing villas and almost all end were Hamburg’s rowing sport has its roots: at the outer Alster. But also the Elbe or the city port area / Speicherstadt are just great for paddling – lots of spots to choose from!

WÄGITALERSEE S W I T Z E R L A N D

The best part about Stand Up Paddling is that you can go paddling 12 months a year, even in snow and ice! With the right equipment you can enjoy some exciting tours during winter time like exploring an ice free mountain lake. Taking a break from spring-like temperatures in February, Swiss extreme paddler Thomas Oschwald started to look for winter conditions. Equipped with the Fly Air Inflatable Premium backpack on his back, he headed off in the direction of some Swiss mountain peaks. His original plan of going for a paddle on the Klöntalersee did not really work out – the lake was frozen. So he put on his snowshoes and walked another 10 km over the Schwialppass to the Wägitalersee which he reached when it got dark. So he had to stay there over night in his tent and moved his paddle tour to the next morning. Once again Thomas realized that fun adventures are only a short distance from your home sometimes. You don’t have to always travel far, the best experiences are right in front of your door-step!

MUNICH G E R M A N Y

My idea was to go Stand Up Paddling, without having to use the car to drive to the spot. With the new comfortable Premium backpacks, it’s not a at all problem to transport your Fly Air Inflatable per bike on your back. I cycled comfortably through the center of Munich down to the river Isar, until I reached the entry point in Baierbrunn in the south. Then I quickly swapped the bike clothes with boardshorts and pumped up my Fly Air Inflatable board. After a short snack on the beach I finally hit the water. In dream conditions with smooth water I went for a super nice tour along the Isar enjoying the great scenery. After a good 2 hour session I came back to the entry point, deflated & packed my board again and cycled back to the city. On my way, I already discovered the entry point for my next SUP Tour! Simply put, this is the best technology available on the market. The highly durable 2nd layer material allows the boards to be inflated to an air pressure of more than 20 PSI – without compromising any materials. A stiff, responsive, high-performance ride that does what you want.

The material used for the Fly Air is a durable Tarpaulin PVC. On the inside of the Fly Air thousands of nylon threads connect the deck with the bottom of the board to keep it in a functional and performing shape.

Time to blow up your SUP and start your own adventures! For 2015 we introduce four finely tuned shapes in two technologies to the Fly Air range, guaranteed to offer real Surf action for any size and style of rider. Taking inspiration from our outstanding Fly SUP boards, the Fly Air is the ultimate SUP toy. Featuring an elongated Longboard style outline, combined with reams of volume, the Fly Air has endless glide with substantial width offering a truly stable ride. By increasing the overall thickness in the range this year we gain even more rigidity. Combine all these hot design attributes with added width (31” for the Fly Air 9'0”, expanding to 34” of the 10'8” Fly Air) it then becomes clear why this board can give any SUP on the market a run for its money. Also new for 2015 are brand new high quality backpacks for storage and ease of transport with padded straps and inner /outer storage pockets as well as new pumps. The red Premium bag comes with top strap accompanied by an additional belly belt plus ultra effective padding for better back support. Whether you are looking to shred the swell or improve manoeuvrability, an impressive performance is given by the Fly Air regardless of the conditions. Great attention to detail has been taken to ensure easy inflate/deflate, comfortable transport and exceptional optics unmatched within the industry. The Fly Air is available in both lightweight single-wall Stringer construction and high quality Premium Edition Double Layer Technology. Catching waves or cruising the lakes, fin options and deck net deliver you an abundance of freedom. When you’re done, deflate and dash.

The ease of the inflatable comes into its own with the Fly Air Race. With all the high performance aspects taken from our hard base Falcon Raceboards 12’6” BOP and 14’0” and being integrated into our inflatable technology your options are fast and limitless in 2015. To make sure you get the perfect match, both the 12’6” and 14’0” are available in two different volumes (274 and 300 litres for the 12’6”, 314 and 335 litres for the 14’0”). The variety of options will ensure that you are paddles in front of the rest when crossing the finish line. New for 2015 is a brand new high quality backpack for storage and ease of transport with padded straps and inner /outer storage pockets as well as a new pump. All designs feature competitive outlines with a reduction in width to maximize speed around the racecourse. But fear not, stability is still all-time, so all you have to focus on is the task in hand. A moulded in US Box fin is included on all Fly Air Raceboards and the pre-bent bottom curves are adjusted to account for the weight of the rider. Weight is reduced via the high tech 0.4 mm second layer in our Double Layer Technology. A combination of the board’s perfect position on the water, efficiency and speed will have you leading the pack at lightning speeds.

F A N A T I C

PADDLES PADDLES WITH POWER You’re only as fast as your weakest link – and with the new re- worked Fanatic paddle range, we can guarantee that link won’t be in your hands. Fanatic has taken the care and precision that go into building each Fanatic board and designed a paddle that’s strong and light, with the perfect amount of flex to deliver maximum power while allowing you to paddle in total comfort. Grab a Fanatic paddle and take a stroke.

FANATIC UNION PADDLE In the past, all paddle flex patterns were made up of two parts: the blade, and the shaft. These two flexible parts were disrupted by an oversized stiff joint, where paddle and shaft were connected. The Fanatic Union paddle has revolutionised the unified flex pattern. It now runs seamlessly from the tip of the blade all the way to the shaft. By moving the connection joint further up the shaft, it tapers perfectly into a RDM joint, resulting in constant flex for an unmatched spring and response with every stroke. From the moment the blade enters the water your energy is converted into forward drive. The Union paddle is available in two sizes with three construction styles for a straightforward selection of paddles to match your performance and budget.

The Carbon Pro model is the ultimate elite paddle. Combining our Union paddle design with 100 % 3K Prepreg Carbon, it is strong yet feather light in the hands. With a reduction in swing weight, this paddle has an ultra fast flex response from the tip of the blade right through to the top of the handle. The Carbon Pro paddle is available in both 7.25” and 8” blades. Each has an integrated ABS blade protector and fixed or adjustable shaft lengths.

Innegra Carbon provides an optimum flex / strength / weight ratio across the whole paddle. Additional surface strength absorbs and withstands those knocks from everyday paddling. Available in 7.25” and 8” blades, the Union system has the most supreme flex pattern running from the top of the handle to the tip of the blade. Fixed or adjustable shaft lengths, with a built in ABS blade protector, you’re sure to have the most effective paddle stroke on the water.

Perform in style with the Bamboo Carbon 40. Benefiting from the Union joint system, as well as the Bamboo Glass Sandwich, this is an outstanding construction for those starting to gain skill on a SUP. The twist and flex in the blade is superbly controlled through its’ design and is available with a 8” blade with fixed or adjustable shaft lengths.

The supreme entry level Carbon 25 adjustable 8” paddle does just what it says on the tin. An excellent flex / weight ratio supplies beginner and improver paddlers alike with all the characteristics needed to progress. Having advanced from the standard Alu paddles, the Carbon 25 is available in the 160 – 220 cm adjustable length, so it can be shared amongst friends and family. A special feature is the fully integrated rail blade protection that will keep you, your board and paddle in one piece. What more could you possibly want?

For top quality and value for money, the standard Alu paddle has the answer. Featuring a solid aluminium shaft with a flexible, yet highly durable plastic blade. It will withstand the daily hits from the unavoidable ›learning curve‹. An adjustable range of 170 – 210 cm gives everyone, no matter what size, a chance to have a go. The removable foam collar gives the paddles buoyancy so you don’t have to worry about it sinking.

We understand that kids need to be encouraged and that often starts with them being comfortable with the equipment they are using. SURFBOARDS Fanatic Surfboards are produced in partnership with Aussie legend Bruce McKee, bringing you a range of epic shapes from a classic shaper. Our superior heritage in epoxy windsurf construction includes Bamboo Epoxy and high grade Biaxial layups. Offering six exquisitely sleek looking Short- and Longboards, our collection will suit a wide range of surfing abilities and styles.

MAKE A FANATIC MCKEE YOUR WEAPON OF CHOICE.

ABOUT BRUCE MCKEE Fabled Aussie shaper, Bruce McKee is residing back in Sydney after more than 20 years in Europe. Teaming up with Fanatic to work on innovative Surfboard shapes and constructions, McKee is also an avid windsurfer and has shaped everything, from Catamarans, Waterskis, Longboards and Guns, not to mention every type of Shortboard. Bruce has supplied many shapers with his M4 Quattro Quad and M5 Multisystem concept systems and has also crafted boards for many of the world’s top Pro Surfers from the WCT and WQS Tours. It’s clear to see that his experience, knowledge and creative flare have made him a cut above the rest. McKee has also achieved great success with riders such as the iconic Andy Irons. He makes the perfect partner for Fanatic’s cutting edge Epoxy standards and we’re proud of the outcome from our collaboration.

THE MCKEE M5 MULTISYSTEM

POLYESTER BOARDS

McKee has been a Quad fin advocate since late 1981 and his Performance board, M5 Multisystem formula, is used by Kelly Slater, the world’s greatest surfer ever! Recently we’ve seen him win the ASP competition at Cloudbreak, Fiji as well as the Pipe Masters on boards with the McKee Quad fin Formula. We’ve also seen Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson and Ace Buchan dominating in heavy barrelling waves during recent ASP finals using the McKee system.

Three seasons ago, we introduced a Polyester board range with dimensions mimicking those of the EPS Bamboo collection. Polyester boards are used by the world’s best riders and are ideal for those who prefer traditional constructions with the crisp feel they provide when riding. We have used the best foam available for its weight and density, glassing them with both light weight and optimum strength in mind. The Performance Allround and Compact Waveboards include extra tail reinforcement for those riding heavily on the back foot. Whatever your preference of surf board style and construction, we know that you’ll be excited with this seasons 2015 range.

PERFORMANCE ALLROUND

COMPACT WAVE

Firef l y 5’10”, 6‘0”, 6‘2”

Diam o n d 5’8”, 5’10”, 6’0”, 6’3”

The Firefly has been fine tuned for 2015. An aggressive rail angle change of the bump swallow tail gives this board excellent reactions. Able to pivot and climb vertically, easily releasing off the top. The design is best suited to small/mid sized wave conditions as it responds quickly to subtle foot controls.

The Diamond design has a low rocker with a deep single concave giving an abundance of lift and squirt through turns. The outline has the perfect amount of tail curvature to allow for snaps, but also for drawing solid lines on large waves. The well distributed volume, along with balanced width, has the Diamond linking the dead sections with ease.

Available in our high quality Polyester construction, these boards are ideal for those who prefer a more traditional layup and crisp feel when riding. The expanded nose and tail outline provides early planing, allowing the board to seamlessly link the dead sections. The Firefly presents a mid rocker and a single to double concave bottom which has been deepened this year. Heel and toe carbon reinforcement patches have been introduced, as riders are increasingly pushing the boundaries with more extreme manoeuvres on this design. New, clean and sleek graphics are seen this year with block colours nodding towards a more classic style. Finally, the new Firefly embraces versatility using the Quad / Thruster Multisystem.

Originally the Diamond was designed for mushy disorganised wave conditions, but we have found this board to be incredibly versatile across a wide variety of waves. The deep concave holds exceptionally well, whilst the bottom curvature through the rail has the board carve fully on rail arcs. The Quad / Thruster Multisystem adds versatility to the board’s already endless list of capabilities. Blocks of pure green vibrancy are seen on the Diamond this year. On trend and fashionable you are guaranteed to look the part whilst putting in an outstanding performance. Available in both of our outstanding Polyester and Epoxy constructions, you can be sure to find a style that suits your every need.

Cra z y Diam o n d 5’4”, 5’7”

M o o nshin e 5’8”, 5’10”, 6’1”, 6’4”, 6’7”, 7’1”

The Crazy Diamond produces great results for those wanting a short, small wave ripper. The retro style pinched tail with a boxy deck shape and slicing lower rail form, gives great carving performance at slow speeds and the ability to cut effortlessly through bumps in those less than ideal conditions.

A design introduced last year, the Moonshine has been undeniably impressive with its top speeds, full rail carving abilities and overall performance. Due to popular demand, we are excited to add four new sizes, 5’8”, 5’10”, 6’7”, 7’1” to the 2015 range.

Available in our Bamboo Epoxy construction, the Crazy Diamond is proportionally wider and thicker than the Compact Wave Diamonds. A deep full concave and a touch of double concave through the fins, gives the board optimum lift and speed.

The Moonshine’s overall surface area gives it that ›get up and go‹ needed for remarkable early planing but, due to its deep concave bottom, it does not feel as wide as one might expect. This concave has been refined for 2015 and we have taken it even deeper with slightly less tail double concave. This modification gives more lift and hold whilst adding more curve into the rail to keep the nose free. This results in the board linking some full powered arcs. The bump in the tail outline allows for quick snaps while the swallow provides drive and control. The overall rocker is mid to curvy meaning that the Moonshine is as at home in punchy waves, clean point breaks or beach break mush. Heel and toe Carbon reinforcement is seen on the Moonshine, which is available in both of our outstanding Polyester and Epoxy constructions, while versatility is added through the use of the Quad / Thruster Multifin system.

Green vibrancy is seen on the Diamond this year. On trend and fashionable you are guaranteed to look the part whilst putting in an outstanding performance.

Reflecting fashions laid back narrative with hues of blue, means you’ll fit right in no matter the colour of the ocean.

LONGBOARD

Fun Egg 6’2”, 6’6”, 6’10”

M ini- M al 7’6”, 8’0”, 8’3”

The Fun Egg shape remains unaltered since its introduction into the range. It has consistently proven to be a fantastic blend of wave ›hunter / catcher‹ and an easy to ride performer. Stylish with its visible Bamboo layup it resembles the timeless classics, while the yellow trim around the rails gives the board a modern twist.

Great stability and smooth paddling are amped with the Mini-Mal thanks to ample width and floatation. Since the design has been spot on, there are no adjustments this year to the widths, thicknesses or rockers. We have however, changed the graphics and you will be styling out! Block strips of dreamy shades of pale blue are laid across the tail of this predominantly white cruiser, whilst the Bamboo version resembles the washed out pastel waters of the Bahamas, reflecting a trendy yet relaxed vibe.

The forward concave running through the middle gives supreme lift and reliable security in the hollow sections of the wave. The pronounced V to double concave makes for a smooth, easy rail to rail transition at speed. The low overall rocker, allows this board to run effortlessly in weak conditions so you can easily link sections all the way to the beach. Available in our Bamboo Epoxy construction and incorporating the Quad / Thruster Multisystem for 2015, the Fun Egg is another great and versatile ride.

The Polyester constructed versions of the Mini-Mal have the trusted Thruster fin setup, while the Bamboo models have the versatile Quad / Thruster Multisystem.

LONGBOARD St y l e m ast e r 9 ’1” The name says it all. Stylemaster! This 9’1” Longboard was designed to be versatile in all sizes of wave. The mid centre bending curvature lets you nose ride with ease, get back to tilt up the face or ride on the tail at speed. The nose area maximises your nose riding time, and with a deep concave and rolled rail shape you can hold a steep wall predictably. The tail width is narrowed, so the outline permits high powered turns off the tail at lightning speeds. Available in both of our outstanding Polyester and Epoxy constructions, heel to toe Carbon reinforcement patches can be found on PU boards. Guaranteed to turn heads on the water, the deck has a timeless block colour style in pale blues and white, while the Bamboo version resembles the crystal waters of the tropics. Mesmerising when punching the lip or laying into heavy cut backs, the 9’1” has the Longboard fin Multisystem, which allows the usual tri fin and single fin combinations along with a variety of others. The recommended fin size for the Quad are all M2 sizes or a similar total fin area. For larger waves, increasing the size of the tail fins will accommodate your needs.
