Things have certainly quietened down since the last E3 edition of TACTICS the number of announcements slowing down - but as we near the busy final quarter period, there’s definitely plenty to look forward to and not least Gamescom in a couple of weeks! With all eyes on Cologne in August, there’s the hope we’ll see one or two surprises come out of Gamescom. Perhaps there’ll be more in-game footage from Death Stranding? Or maybe some unexpected announcements from the platform holders? Or better still, a brand new IP will make its debut... Whatever happens we’ll be there sharing some real time data and insights on our site and with anyone who’s booked a demo. The next issue of TACTICS will be taking a little break, our focus on our all new ‘Gamescom Walkthrough’ coming early September. It’s our biggest undertaking yet, listing the games at the show and tracking their performance against others assigned to the same tier (an all new feature for our Fusion tool). That means we’ll be pitting AAA against AAA and Indie against Indie. Until then enjoy July’s issue and see you on the other side! Martine Saunders
