As we move ever closer to the launch of the next generation of consoles it has become, rather unsurprisingly, apparent that the gaming behemoths; Sony and Microsoft will be battling tooth and nail all the way up to and beyond the holiday period. If June was a Playstation month we can comfortably say July was claimed by Xbox. Obviously, consoles are nothing without their games and July had a lot to give with that respect. Ubisoft held their Forward digital event which gave us further looks at previously announced titles and revealed Far Cry 6. Players also managed to get their hands-on anticipated titles like Paper Mario: The Origami King and Ghost of Tsushima. Whilst this year has been unusual, it’s not been without great games to keep us playing. In this month’s issue we take a better look at Xbox Series X launch title Halo Infinite (page 12), analyse what the critics had to say about Ghost of Tsushima & Paper Mario: The Origami King (page 5) and as always let you know which games made the most noise in the month.
