As we find ourselves working our way steadily through the final quarter of 2019 (is it really November already?) notable games both big and small are dropping on a near daily basis. Mario’s younger brother gets a turn back as the lead in Luigi’s Mansion 3, Obsidian Games looks to out-Bethesda Bethesda with The Outer Worlds and Yooka-Laylee took their antics to the 2D platforming genre. Find out what the critics thought over on page 4. Fortnite may have regained its status as coverage leader thanks to the fantastical introduction of Fortnite: Chapter 2 but it’s been a strong month for games in general. Sure not everyone has been in the spotlight for the right reasons but overall the buzz around the industry is high especially as we lead into Christmas. We’re seeing teases of what the PS5 and Project Scarlett has in store for us and while its easy to want to switch focus, until then let’s enjoy the games 2019 has left in its holster.
