UNDER RESEARCH Experimenting, researching, sibities and boundaries of the pose wasn’t to produce a tion but a creation system forming a garnment : folds,
exploring posinfinite. My purfinished collecusing elements darts and cuts.
A system as a tool for creation to developp patterns, shapes and volumes. Developping a research lab at the same time numeric, artistic and shapes allowed me to reach various possibilies in fabric and models.

flight attendant Travelling takes different shapes. For me, it’s related to flight attendants and their uniforms. Dressing codes, graphic codes and colors, which, as they are really basic, allow us to revisit it. Using usual pieces of the uniform : the skirt and the jacket, I worked various objects to create the garnment. Showcasing the body and the important elements of the garnment. Folds and misuse of elements become primary elements of the silhouette. A man’s jacket as a woman’s jacket cinched by the existant sleves. Sleeves replaced with a young child velvet skit, the belt taking place as the bottom of the sleeves. A collar made of cap visors. Shorts made of curtains.

POINT BY POINT Inspiration for this collection came from the sculptural works of Picasso, mainly the «Figures» serie. His creative process is what I was inspired by. Before being sculptures, theses «figures» were sketches, dots laid on paper and connected one by one to create a volume. This is how I wanted to work. Starting from the woman’s body, I draw points then connect the point to create a volume all around the body. There’s a logical relation between point by point drawings and pattern-making : its about connecting dots to create volume.

maratus A tiny spider transforming itself for its love parade was the sarting point of my research to create a tote-bag and a clutch bag. My purpose was to produce accessories that transform themselves throughout the day. A tote-bag transforming itself into a backpack due to changeable handles. A fanny-pack transforming itself into a shoulder bag and a clutch bag. Besides the transformist aspect of this spider, I am reusing the pattern that are on the back part of its body, which, as the peacock, lifts up to seduce females.

REfurbished Using disposed clothes, old, ÂŤout of fashionÂť and used I create a ten piece collection both feminin and sportswear. I started with using sweatshirts, training pants and shirts. Mixing upcycling with new accessories and fabrics I developped this collection playing with patterns, textures and lines.

IN THE PUDDLE This collection was inspired by different portraits painted by Fernand LÊger following an exhibition at Bozar (Brussel). I was inspired by his wife’s portraits. More than the portraits themselves I focused on superposition and transparency created by the different colored flat areas on the portraits, drawn with a simple black line. A play on overlay, transparency, moire, over-under.
