Boston 2024

Page 1

A NEW IDEA from Boston, the city of 100 colleges and 250,000 students. Because we love sports, as our four main professional teams won 32 titles as of 2010, and because we’re eager to welcome the world in 2024, for the greatest celebration, the Olympic Games. We want to invite people from all nations, to celebrate the dream of victory, and the most important, to make new friends ! Our project is to offer the best venues for the best events. Boston is ready, 76% of our venues are already built, and compact, 85% of the proposed venues are situated in a radius of 10km around the Olympic Park. WE WANT THE BEST FOR BOSTON, WE WANT THE BEST FOR THE GAMES, WE WANT THE BEST FOR THE WORLD.

THE BOSTON PLAN World class venues in two clusters (the Olympic Park and the Olympic River Area). A new Olympic Park will be developed on a former industrial district, plus the use of existing venues and temporary structures not to waist money in white elephants. The Olympic River Area will use existing venues, famous college facilities, a world class arena (the TD Garden), a mythic ballpark (Fenway Park), a natural river (Charles River) in the heart of the city for Rowing and Canoeing.
