But in that melancholic juncture, his wife became the profound source of his inspiration. Complementing her support, Sanjay asserts, “My wife, Anita Arora started working to facilitate our household needs and necessities. Simultaneously, she encouraged me to keep working on my passion”. Sanjay didn’t give up and started working on the huge potential and scope of Construction Chemical business in the country. Eventually, after a year of an uphill battle, he founded ATPL® in 2004. Initially, the brand started manufacturing adhesives and construction chemicals in smaller proportions. Sanjay even went out of his way to sell products from door to door in his car. During the lockdown period, industries across all sectors had to layoff employees, and deduct their salaries. But, not at ATPL®. Mark Zuckerberg, the man who came up with an idea that helped people to connect with each other around the world. Facebook has not just changed the entire social networking landscape but it has also been successful in the way how millions of people are communicating and keeping in touch with their dear ones.
EARLY LIFE OF MARK ZUCKERBERG Mark Elliot Zuckerberg was born in White Plains, New York, on May 14th, 1984. He was born to an educated family, being the second of four children and the only son to the family. Edward Zuckerberg is Marks’ father, he is a dentist who also had a dental practice next to the family house, and his mother, Karen Zuckerberg is a psychiatrist. Arielle, Randi and Donna are Mark’s three sisters and all of them were raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Mark at an early age had developed an interest in computer programming. At the age of twelve, Mark Zuckerberg had created a messaging program that was named ‘ZuckNet’, which was implemented by him as an inter-office communication system for his father’s dental practice.

He showed signs of success in his early age, due to which his parents hired a computer programming tutor at the time when he was still in high school in order to provide him with some private lessons. His parents made him enrolled in a prep school in Hampshire. There he showed excellent results in literature and science, also received a degree in classics. After getting graduated from prep school, Mark Zuckerberg enrolled himself at Harvard University.

At the time when Mark Zuckerberg was at Harvard University, he built programs like CourseMatch that helped students to choose their subjects according to the lists of courses from other users. The other program that he built was FaceMash, he created this by hacking the database of Harvard. Both the programs had become wildly popular, but it was supposed to be inappropriate due to which the university made it shut.
Mark Zuckerberg had partnered with his friends in order to create a social networking site. The website was only allowed within Harvard students to connect with each other. It officially went live in June 2004 and was named as “The Facebook”.
Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook was successful in not only turning Facebook into a billion-dollar company before the age of thirty but also he made it all while being sued by his former colleagues and business partners.
After the second year, Mark Zuckerberg dropped out from the college as his focus was to pursue Facebook for full-time. By the end of 2004, the website had reached to one million users. Facebook grew from a company that experienced various legal troubles to a company that is being used worldwide.
After the extraordinary success of Facebook, the man behind the social media platform was being noticed by people. Mark Zuckerberg is also known as one of the most influential people in the world and, in terms of net worth, he is also one of the richest person.
With the easiest way of communication, Facebook is a medium that helps you to connect with a family member or a friend that is far away from you. Since the inception of Facebook, it has come across many issues including settling of numerous lawsuits but it didn’t stop Facebook from growing.

The first milestone for DSAT was with TUV Nord as first customer where certification management solution was developed and implemented in 9 countries in East Asia, Thailand being epicenter. 33
Thai government contracts like National Single Widow (customs department), Ministry of commerce and Health ministry were signed. Partnered with various logistics software companies like Four Soft, Kewill, IPacs and later became Oracle gold partners and implemented their software in Thai region. Developed friendly efficient software solutions for Yusen Logistics, DHL, , Praxair, Toll Logistics. In 2011 signed with NYK Auto Logistics (NALT), which is a part of NYK Group in Thailand, one of the world’s leading logistics investor, developer, and operator. NALT deals in transportation of finished cars. Through NALT our services were expanded to Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu, Suzuki and Mazda by implementing DSAT’s TMS. In 2015 DHL choose our FMS for maintenance of their fleet. They have 2400 vehicles out of which 1600 are owned and 800 are subcontracted. Every day approx. 30 or more vehicles are going for preventive maintenance. FMS also handles material handling equipment like warehouse forklift, cranes and others. In early 2016 DSAT signed contract with Yusen Logistics PTE LTD. They are one of the leading in logistics world catering its services since February 28, 1955. Yusen is indulged into multiple activities for which they needed “one-stop solution” in order to provide “one-stop service” to increasing customer base. DSAT’s TMS software was implemented along with FMS and Milestone to provide seamless solution. The solutions are for 15 countries. DSAT has successfully finished implementation in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and India in progress. In 2016 we also got our major account i.e. Praxair (Thailand) co., ltd. a leading manufacturer, distributor and service provider of a wide range of industrial gases, established in 1972, with over 45 years of experience. DSAT implemented TMS to address their business needs GPS/GPRS tracking, Remote Telemetry Units, HR Application, Fuel Vendor Application, Distribution Scheduler. Launch of DSAT MENA Operations (Middle East and North Africa) was scheduled for April 2020 with headquarters at Dubai, UAE. Due to the unprecedented circumstances the

launch has been postponed to Jan 2021. ONGOING PROJECTS IN INDIA DSAT offers solutions to Indian companies with a dedicated sales & marketing team now based in India, though we had our offshore development center (ODC) over a decade in Chennai, India which is one of the hubs of India’s Supply Chain/IT. DSAT launched Cloud-Based last-mile delivery, on-demand delivery services and Driver mobile App. Within 3 months of Indian operations DSAT signed a new contract and gone Live for RCI logistics and rolling out of Yusen Logistics India is in progress. RCI LOGISTICS is an India based logistics company for more than 2 decades, well proficient in its work line. RCI provides one stop solutions for all logistics needs which vary from domestic container movement, ODC (Over-Dimension Cargo) movement, transportation in normal FTL, LCV to warehousing, value-added service, last-mile delivery and many more. RCI requirements included automation in last-mile delivery like trip status update, trip assignment update, trip acceptance, ePOD update, integrate drivers expense calculation in their centralized control system to keep track of whole delivery. FFSL stands proud of managing three of these internationally acclaimed beaches - Shivrajpur (Gujarat), Ghoghla (Diu) and Kasarkod (Karnataka). FFSL was working with the Ministry of Environment (GOI) on this project for the last four years. Managing a beach isn’t a cakewalk, as it requires a result-oriented framework and skilled people, which unfortunately wasn’t available. Hence, FFSL had to start from scratch, working on building an adroit team, convincing the locals about the need and efficiency of beach cleaning. Another thing they did was, acknowledging every cleaner as an ambassador of the Blue Flag Project, which deliberately charged them up. FFSL fostered all kinds of maintenance and associated supports to every crewmate, who put their hard work and sweat into the fruition of this project.
THE BLUE FLAG CERTIFICATION
The coveted blue flag recognition is the world’s foremost certification that covers Beaches, Marinas, and Sustainable Boating Tourism Operators. The accreditation includes stringent quality parameters environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility, that has to be followed without any exception. The international jury of this certification included eminent members from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The certification is conveyed conferred, by the Denmark-based non-profit Foundation for Environmental Education.

When the project was still on paper, FFSL had projected a significant infrastructure development required for its fruition. TROVE OF MILESTONES AND ACCOLADES
MAJOR CHALLENGES IN THE PROJECT
Convincing locals about the project and marshalling a team of like-minded people, were the two significant challenges, for FFSL. Since this was a pilot project, only four beaches were initially selected that too under strict criteria. The focus was to revamp these beaches to an international level. The locals around the beaches had a stringent ambiguity regarding this project; as such, convincing them that this is something worth doing and has a definite significance on the environment was a daunting task. However, FFSL’s core motivation drove their energy; first, they did in-depth research on what they are trying to achieve. Then, they forayed to make the locals understand the project and build a team of people, having the will and passion towards it. Around 400-500 arduous people were selected (98% local), and FFSL put a considerable effort into training them. Govt. bodies like the BMC and the Collector also took a great interest in the project, which helped them addressing compliances.
STURDY DESPITE THE COVID OUTBREAK
The manufacturing space was widely affected, by the pandemic. Whether its economy, employment or movement of materials, everything faced an unprecedented halt. On top of that, the physical movement was strictly restricted, further increasing the problem by a level. However, FFSL carried a boiling desire to see the successful completion of this project. As such, with an iron will the entire team worked meticulously towards their individual roles and responsibilities. People working at the sites were safeguarded with all preventive measures and Govt. guidelines. Being a significant part of the Country’s economy, some of their services were permitted, with special guidelines off course. FFSL leveraged on digital communication to monitor the daily progress of work and further to stay unified. The safety measures were also rigorously implanted in their offices. Which, with its tailored offering and deep relationships between banks and companies, has committed to becoming a strategic partner in the successful journey of SUGAR. The co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh said that “SUGAR plays in a segment of high gross margin that makes debt a fantastic choice for us. We are excited to collaborate with Stride and their partner private bank with superior product-market fit and long-term growth appetite and announce the US $2 million as the first tranche of Series C funding that we expect to close later this year”. Sugar Cosmetics retails online from make-up to daily skincare products, as well as from its own 2,400 stores in 130 cities. The company says that in the last two years it has seen a 6x increase in sales and clocked net revenues in FY20 of Rs 105 crore. The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook stated that “The backbone of our global economy are Small Businesses and the beating heart of innovation and opportunity in communities around the world. This programme is being launched to encourage the owners of small business to write the next chapter of creativity and prosperity on the App Store, and to form the kind of quality apps that are loved by the customers.”
An indie game developer with 20 titles in the App Store, Phillip Stollenmayer stated that “In order to become truly mobile, this is a big opportunity for the indie gaming spirit”. In June 2020, his latest game ‘Song of Bloom’ won an Apple Design Award. With this, only 15 per cent will have to be paid by Stollenmayer and other hardworking independent developers. Also, now they will be able to divert the savings in order to expand their workforce and develop new, innovative features for app users.
The new initiative by Apple reduces commission on paid apps and in-apps to help multiple budding app developer start-ups that sell digital goods and services on Apple App Store. It is all set to go live on 1st January 2021. However, this programme is limited to developers who in the previous calendar year (2020) earned up to $1 million in revenue. If earnings are below the cut-off range, as stated above, they will be authorized to pay 15 per cent for an additional year. However, if the earnings go more than $1 million, the company will have to pay the regular 30 per cent commission to Apple App Store.
It was coincident that the news came out exactly months after the sanctions on Epic Games was initiated by Apple. In August, an inapp feature that was for all transactions done on PCs and mobiles was launched as direct payment by latter’s gaming division Fortnite.
He further added, “The App Store has turned out to be an economic growth engine like no other, generating millions of new jobs and a path to entrepreneurship that is open to anyone with a great idea. The new programme is moving in the right direction by helping developers fund their small businesses, taking chance on new ideas, expanding their teams and continuing to create apps that enhance the lives of people.”
Apparently, this breached the policy of Apple and enabled customers a 20 per cent discount on in-game currency (V-bucks). Google has also taken objection to the Fortnite’s decision. On the respective Google Play and Apple App Store sites, both technology firms blocked Fortnite gaming. In the battle at court, it has been pointed out by the Epic Games that the 30 per cent cut taken by Apple and Google were too hefty to run a successful business for application companies.
This is considered as a welcome gesture by the Cupertinobased firm, as it would be helping small companies that are facing a financial crisis due to the early outbreak of Covid-19 earlier this year that led to the worldwide shutdown of economic activities for several months.

Kanakapura Metro Road Waits for its Launch Date after its Succesful Safety Certification The Kanakapura Road Metro (Yelachenahalli to Anjanapura) section is finally on track. On Monday, the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety had permitted to extend the existing (Nagasandra to Yelachenahalli) Green Line. Under Namma Metro’s Phase 2, this is the first corridor that is going to be opened, which was sanctioned in the year 2014. The launch date is yet to be finalized by BMRCL but it is expected to open by the end of this month or by the first week of December. Once the metro comes on track, the passengers will be able to travel in just 10 minutes for ₹20 between Anjanapura and Yelachenahalli. The officials of BMRCL stated that as soon as they receive the dates from Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri, they will start commercial operations. On November 18-19, the section was inspected by Abai Kumar Rai, the Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle (Bengaluru), along with that he conducted speed trials up to 90kmph and 85kmph on down and up lines. Rai stated in his letter that “The opening of BMRCL’s double line is sanctioned and authorized for passengers with 750V DC electric traction at operating speed of up to 80kmph or the speed that is permitted by Automatic Train Protection, whichever is less”. Several conditions were laid out by Rai in his six-page letter for BMRCL that have to be followed before opening the section. He stated that “Maximum speed should not exceed to 60 kilometres per hour on the platform. Along curves, the theoretical speed should be worked out based on the radius”. He further stated that “All works concerning to passenger facilities, such as entry/exit, ticketing, automated collection of fares, escalators and elevators, lighting and ventilation, including facilities for senior citizens and other differently-abled people, have been completed and placed into service at all stations. First aid services as well as fire-safety measures should be delivered to all stations.” He also suggested course-correction steps be taken at stations such as Konanakunte Cross, Vajrahalli, Talaghattapura and Anjanapura.
