Concept study
Problem identification Creation of social nodes among the clustered nazlet el seman that acts as play grounds for kids (plaza) which create a problem of unsafety ,in comfort for residents and their children .
• The use of the urban clustered character (node)as in F1 as a core of project that collects all sports and people together
The 6m Wall barrier that separates nazlet el seman physically from the Giza plateau creating a clashing node between tourists and tourists and residence .besides resulting in giving a sense of discrimination and separation from their belonging
Concept
Form generation Figure1
Creating a space that Turns segmentation (socially-physically) in to a new attraction point with ultimate view and visual integration with greens and pyramids inspiring healthier lifestyle
Mission building a hub that collects all social nodes together that allow a diverse communication with people and a variety of new sports and activities all with the view of Giza plateau to enrich sense of connection between people (residents –tourists )and between their heritage
Figure2
Vision Provide a healthy community and enrich the sense of belonging to heritage and help in revival of power and dignity back in time .(bridging the old context and the new generation)
Keywords Blurred boundaries :A strategy that does not produce autonomous objects, but instead, blurs the boundaries between a building and its context. The blurring or obscuring of boundaries is a method that has been used to create ambiguity and attraction to the space (encourage an interaction between inside and outside)
Integration parts to wholes: vertical layering and visual connection is achieved through transparency between sport spaces resulting in transmit ion of active energy besides the visual connection with the pyramids along each space
Expressive appearance : by designing a hub that embrace the nature and in the same point by creating a statement design elements to be a land mark and a forth pyramid to the site
“We should attempt to bring nature, houses, and human beings together in a higher unity” - Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

Multi purpose hall
visual integration with pyramid . Besides the first attraction point from the entrance ramp that allow the energetic mood transfer and booming effect .
The critical minimum dimensions for this most popular size of sports hall are 33 x 18 x 7.6m. Main structure must always be aligned between the badminton courts to create four bays. Extra width can be considered to enable cricket nets to be hung alongside rather than over the badminton courts and to provide an extended spectator zone. An extra 1.5m added to the length and 0.25m to the width allows for a full size netball court with side and end margins.
Structure study
Vertical diagrid The diagrid’s height to width ratio is gradually varied in the elevation, allowing the diagrid structure to counter vertical loading more efficiently at the bottom and lateral loading at the top The diagrid structure creates a form that transmits affects of gradation as well as crystallinity and latticing
Horizontal diagrid The roof over the multi purpose hall is formed by tessellation of two diagrid frame base units with different curvatures which introduce natural light and transmit affects of latticing, vaulting ,and lighting to the space bellow
