It all started in 2013 when our savvy Travel Ambassadors at the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center noticed a trend. Travelers were leaving North Dakota as the final stop in their state-hopping adventures. So, why not celebrate this fantastic journey? And that’s how the Best for Last Club was born!

HOW DO YOU BECOME A MEMBER?

Joining the club is easy. When you’re ready to make North Dakota your 50th state, just swing by the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center. Mention your milestone to our friendly Travel Ambassadors, and they’ll roll out the red carpet for you. You’ll walk away with a fantastic free t-shirt, an official certificate, and even a round of applause from our excited staff members!

Our club is a diverse bunch! With nearly 6,000 members hailing from all 50 states (one even moved to ND as their final destination) and representing 23 countries, you’re part of a global community of adventurers.

Age is just a number here. Our most senior member was over 100 years old when he joined the club.

If once isn’t enough, we’ve had a member who joined the club not once but twice. They saved North Dakota for last after two epic trips around the entire United States.
