CROSS COUNTRY Y SKI TRAILS & TRAIL SYSTEM

Come out and enjoy some great winter exercise. Cross country ski trails are available to the public free of charge. Trails are groomed as needed, depending on the trail and weather conditions. Updates are posted at FargoParks.com

Dike East to Lindenwood Trail

This trail offers a 9.8K classic trail and a 5.9K skating trail. Dike East Trailhead is located at 100 2nd St S. Lindenwood Trailhead is located at 1905 Roger Maris Drive.

Edgewood Golf Course Trail

This trail offers a 3.7K classic trail and a 2.5K skating trail. Edgewood Trailhead is located at 19 Golf Course Ave N. A warm chalet with ski and snowshoe rentals offered during chalet hours.

Forest River Trail

This trail offers a 2.75K classic trail as well as a 1.3K snowshoe trail. Forest River Trailhead is located at 500 Forest River Drive.

Heritage Hills Trail

This trail has a 1.5K classic and a 1K snowshoe trail. Heritage Hills is located at 88th Ave S.

Island Park Trail

This trail has a 2 loop .8K classic and skating loop. Island Park Trailhead is located in the north parking lot. Island Park is located at 302 7th St S.

Iwen Trail

This trail offers a 2.6K loop as well as a 5K trail to Lions and back. Iwen Trailhead is located in the Iwen Park parking lot at 1209 52nd Ave S.

Orchard Glen Trail

This trail offers a 1.75K classic trail as well as a 1K snowshoe trail. Orchard Trailhead is located in the Orchard Glen gravel parking lot at 76 Ave S & Orchard Park Drive.

Prairiewood Golf Course Trail

This trail offers two classic trails: a 2.7K classic trail and a .8K classic trail as well as a 2.7K snowshoe trail. Prairiewood Trailhead is located in the golf course parking lot at 22 Prairiewood Drive.

RECREATIONAL TRAIL SYSTEM

The Fargo Park District’s goal for our trail system is to provide safe and enjoyable trails for bicyclists, walkers, runners and inline skaters. There are over 105 miles of scenic paths in the Fargo park system. A complete map of the Recreational Trail System is available online at: FargoParks.com
