Strap on your ice skates and head to the newest outdoor skating rink in Fargo! Located in the heart of Downtown Fargo, Broadway Square’s SCHEELS Skating Rink is open daily to the public for ice skating. No hockey allowed but bring your family to skate outdoors under twinkling lights, listening to music and visiting the Skate Shack.

SKATE SHACK

Stop in the Skate Shack to warm up, grab a bite to eat or put on your skates. SCHEELS Skating Rink and Skate Shack are the only Fargo Park District location to offer skate rentals. Skate Shack has regular daily hours during the season (Late November-March), offering skate rentals, sharpenings, concessions and Broadway Square merchandise.

Skate Rentals & Sharpenings

Available during Skate Shack hours. Skate rentals are $5.00. A picture ID or a pair of shoes are required when renting skates. The ID/shoes are returned when the skates are returned. Skate Sharpenings are $3.00. We cannot sharpen goalie or figure skates.

* Hours are subject to change according to weather conditions, maintenance needs and events. SCHEELS Skating Rink and The Skate Shack close if and when temperatures reach –10 degrees or colder, or there are wind chills of –30 or greater.
