Welcome Salvador Dali once said, “At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since.” With Dali’s words in mind, upon reflection, I think back to when the Paradise Center for the Arts was just a dream shared by some extraordinary people. Three years later, that dream became realty when we opened the doors for the first time to hundreds of eager patrons. Four years after that, our membership had grown to over 500 members and was well on the way to 1000. On our ninth birthday, we celebrate the fact that we have sold out a dozen performances this past season and watched thousands of satisfied guests come through our doors for our programming. As the center has grown I am reminded every day that our success is a product of the hard work and dedication of our leadership team, volunteers, staff, and you, our patrons. The continued support we receive has kept our momentum steadily growing and this next season you will see more programming than ever before. We are getting closer to realizing the vision of those original extraordinary people who dreamed about the Paradise Center for the Arts. The 2014 season not only contains over 40 performances, productions, exhibitions, events and an array of art education classes, but also a brand new Family Season and a performance with a Grammy Award Winning act. I would like to thank all of our sponsors who have invested with us to bring the arts to life in this great community. As we continue to increase our programming options, our future growth is still limited by our outstanding mortgage and line of credit. We have reduced our overall debt by 15% over the past three years, but we have a long way to go. I encourage you this year to make a contribution to our capital campaign, Our Paradise… the Possibilities. Author, Wilferd A. Peterson said, “Success is focusing the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve.” We have a burning desire to strengthen our community through arts and education, provide our patrons with high quality artistic programming, and provide a venue for established and emerging artists to exhibit and perform. We are focused on the success of this organization and its sustainability, and invite you to join us, support us, and BE MOVED! Sincerely, Ryan M. Heinritz Executive Director
