Welcome to St. Peter! St. Peter is a town of about 10,500 and it is Nicollet County’s county seat. Nestled along the Minnesota River, it is about a 15 minute drive from Mankato and about one hour from the Twin Cities. Once considered a site for Minnesota’s state capital, St. Peter has the distinction of having five Minnesota governor’s come from this city. St. Peter is the home of Gustavus Adolphus College, has

Entertainment at Minnesota Square Park • St. Peter Sings! This competition will feature 15-25 year olds competing at 4 p.m. in the park. The winner will advance to the Minnesota Sings competition on September 28 in the Twin Cities. • Karaoke by Brian Nichols will begin after the competition and will continue until 7 p.m. •TRAM Program begins at 7 p.m. • Floodplain Four, a St. Peter Dixieland Band, performs 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
