Machinery app launches new functionality

13,000 active pieces of machinery.

towards best practice.

MeritAgCheck has launched a new, innovative report exporting functionality. The app is used to record daily machinery checks, document compliance and helps users manage defects, all at the touch of a button.

Since its launch in spring 2020, the paperless service has started to revolutionise how machinery and vehicles servicing, inspection and checks are documented, according to its creator Safety Revolution. Feedback for the system has been very positive with over 3,500 users now on the app, completing thousands of weekly checks, for over

After an initial upload of equipment using the MeritAgCheck dashboard, managers and operatives can start interacting with the app. Vehicle, machinery and building servicing and checks are reported, which can be set to be checked on a daily, weekly, monthly, or six-monthly basis. Operators can easily document any defects or problems as they work through a daily checklist, which takes no more than ve minutes to ll in. The system can generate management reports and health and safety documentation, which can be easily linked to pieces of kit.

MeritAgCheck is also designed to reduce the risks of inadvertent noncompliance, by o ering the ability to send out customisable noti cations and reminders to individuals, when inspections and services are due; as well as when your sta ’s licenses or training records may be due for renewal. It’s not unusual to have more than 200 itemised machines that, in line with HSE law, should be checked on a frequent basis and MeritAgCheck provides a one stop space to store, manage and utilise this information, helping you and your team to work

The MeritAgCheck team is constantly listening to user feedback and over recent months has created report exporting functionality for the app. Whilst the recording of that data is made simple, e cient and useful, the new introduction of the report exporting feature opens up endless possibilities for you and how you use that data, MeritAgCheck says.

Managers can now download, save and print o the reports generated. For example, a report for all upcoming statutory requirements required for machinery and equipment can be gathered at the touch of a button and exported. Your information can now be utilised in the way that best suits you, app creators say. Whether it be for general interest, to inform business decisions and budgeting choices, or whether it is used in audits and inspections, you will be able to export 35 di erent types of report, presenting trends and statistics across your machinery and buildings.

The MeritAgCheck app can be downloaded from the app store, or visit www.meritcheck.co.uk for more information. FG
