Occurs when fruit are exposed to sunlight or the plant has poor canopy

Symptoms and damage

• Sides of the fruit exposed to sun turns from light brown to white • It reduces fruit quality

Management

• Plant capsicum varieties with good canopy • Adhere to right spacing • Control infestation by pests’ damage and foliage diseases • Encourage proper irrigation and good fertilization
