e really noticed you when someone pointed you out in My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3 back in 2012. We were doing some research on MTV shows and movies and you caught our eye. And, now here we are. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this interview with us. let’s start with My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3. Can you share with us what this experience was like for you and how your career has evolved since then? NP: My experience with My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3, was an amazing experience. It was the first lead role that I booked in a movie with only co-star credit. Jason Woods, the casting director, booked me for my first co-star credit and also happened to be casting My Super Psycho Sweet 16: part 3. He saw something in me and really pushed for me. After my first day on set they ended up using my own name for my role because I was so comfortable that they let me just play myself. At such an early stage of my career, this was just confirmation that I was on the right track. FM: Awkward. What is your favorite part about your character Sergio? NP: My favorite part about being Sergio was being able to just be myself. I originally auditioned for another role on Awkward but wasn’t the right fit. Based on that, the producers pretty much wrote a role with me on mind and all I had to do was deliver. FM: We’ll get to Fashion and Style next, but I have to ask you about the TV series: How to Get Away with Murder. My fave show of the moment, I’m waiting patiently for it to return. You played Pax Curtis, in the one the most talked about episodes. How did you prepare with your scene with Connor (Jack Falahee) and how do you feel about all the attention this scene got and the attention the show is getting? NP: As the Nike quote says “Just Do It.” I pretended that it was my girlfriend and went for it. The attention was great. I got to experience my first controversial role, which happened to get a lot of positive, and negative feedback. The show is amazing and the director of my episode, Laura Innes, literally changed my life. FM: You have definitely gained following and popularity in the gay community. It’s great to see more gay characters in all sorts of shows and playing all different types of roles. Was this a deciding factor in taking part? NP: No, I took the part because of my suicide scene mostly. However, I’m shocked to see that my sex scene over shad-
owed my emotional distress in the suicide scene. It’s great that there are gay character roles but I don’t even think about that because judgment doesn’t play a part in my life. FM: Let’s move on to your personal style. How would you describe it and what would you say is your favorite wardrobe item right now? NP: I love tank tops and sweats with high-tops. I love being comfortable and it also shows off my tattoo artwork.
FM: When it comes to accessories, men are limited in comparison to women’s options. What is your go to accessory? NP: Snapback hats. It’s easy to just throw it on and make an outfit better. FM: Selfies are no longer just a headshot type of photo. For men, they are about the six-pack & the face. Can you share one tip with your readers on how to obtain a selfie-ready body? NP: I’m not about all that but eating healthy and working out is a part of it. FM: Do you have any tips you can share with us about beauty/grooming routine or your must-have products? NP: I don’t really have a routine. I wash my hair once a week and try to stay as natural as possible. I’m a minimalist when it comes to over grooming. FM: I haven’t forgotten about your modeling. The Sketchers ad, when you were 18! Can you tell us a bit about your modeling experience and is this avenue you will continue to explore? NP: Modeling was great. It allowed me to make money when I was younger and opened an experience to the acting realm. After I got a taste of acting, it pretty much took over my modeling career. I enjoy modeling because it’s easy and fun and when you see the pay, you will agree. FM: Last but not least, what can we expect to see from Niko Pepaj in the near future? NP: A lot of groundbreaking roles. I feel like I have gone through a journey in my life for a reason and its time for me to share my emotions through acting to the people who may need it and who look up to me. I am looking forward to see what I can manifest.

FM: I don’t even know where to start. I’m a personally such a huge fan of your work. You’re the runway king, a designer’s dream. You continue to walk for pretty much every fashion designer show I want to see. I’ll cover all this, but why don’t we start at the beginning. Share with us how your modeling career began? IS: Well, my mum had gotten in contact with a family friend, makeup artist Ryan McKnight, and he had brought me in and hooked me up with my first agency. He’s my mother agent now and I am with Wilhelmina.

FM: As I just said, you’re a runway king. Berluti, Valentino, Hermes, Fendi and Salvatore Ferragamo, just to name a few. What do you feel you sets you apart, or what do you bring to castings, that makes you the must-have model? IS: I never asked for any of this. I just stuck to what I knew and how to be me. I greeted the world with a firm shake and a shock buzzer on my hand.

FM: You’ve also done some fantastic campaigns and editorials. What has been your favorite so far, and right now, what brand would you like be in a shoot or campaign for? IS: I’ve worked with many different brands that I couldn’t pick a favorite. I’ve been lucky enough to work with many great brands but if I was to pick who to be in a shoot for, I guess Y-3 cause it has a style I like and everything is really cool. FM: In all your travels, which city do you feel you relate to the most when it comes to your personal style and why? IS: I don’t have a particular type of style but I do like the style that comes from London and New York. Sort of like an early 2000s grunge cause that’s just what I like.

FM: Mostly female models are asked about their runway walk. You have a great runway walk. How would you describe it, or is there a mood that you put yourself in for shows? IS: So imagine that you’re one of the freak weirdos in school and no one likes you. You just get into your head, ignore everybody, and get to you’re next class before someone bugs you. That’s me. Just passing through the crowd just being me. FM: Clearly the camera loves you. Have you ever consider also working in Television or the Movie industry? IS: If something came up, I’d give it a shot but right now I’ve got other things I wanna persue.

FM: What advice would you give our readers who are interested in becoming a model? IS: Make sure it’s something you know you can live with. FM: What’s next for Ian Sharp? IS: Well, its 11pm right now, so I’m gonna get a slice of pizza and head to bed.
