INTRODUCING ALISHA WILLIAMS Alisha, our new Director of Preschool,

is from Owensboro and is married with three children and four grandchildren. She accepted God at an early age and was a member of the Baptist faith. Alisha moved to Owensboro Christian in her twenty’s where she was a member until coming to us in September. She is

excited to be at First Baptist! Alisha is passionate about children. She believes the preschool area should be a fun environment where children are excited to learn about Jesus. She invites everyone to visit the preschool and meet the staff and volunteers.

Photos by Susan Elizabeth Wilson On Sunday, October 16, First Baptist Owensboro celebrated baptism in a big way! If you were there, you were undoubtedly blessed to witness twelve baptisms plus see a video of one of our mission partners baptizing his daughter. What a joyous day and great way to end our time of fellowship at the RiverPark Center! Congratulations to all those who followed Christ's example in baptism: Aydan Ayer, Matthew Chandler, Justin Haynes, Megan Haynes, Haley Higgs, Sean Thomas Higgs, Keaton Hughes, Lillian Hughes, Hannah McGuffin, Aaden Patton, Scott Richmond, C.S., and Korbin Wedding.

As a reminder, the success of this project ultimately is not bricks and mortar but how we as a church utilize God’s provision to impact ministries, which directly impacts people. FBC stands in a unique place and position to change lives…eternally for the cause of Christ. Like you, that’s what makes me passionate about FBC.
