Disputée à maintes reprises en sens inverse depuis le début des années 1980 et ce jusqu’en 2013, cette spéciale n’a finalement été parcourue qu’une seule fois dans cette version, en 2008. Elle débute par l’ascension du Col Saint-Roch (990 m), dont les nombreux lacets offrent un spectacle de tous les instants. Changement ensuite de versant - exposé Nord - en direction du Col de la Porte (1057 m), avec des portions toujours à l’ombre en janvier. La fin de la spéciale est ensuite beaucoup plus étroite, en descente d’abord, parsemée de pierres éparses, puis en montée rapide sur la fin, jusqu’au bas du hameau de Loda qui surplombe la vallée de la Vésubie…

Often contested the other way round between Lantosque (or Loda) and Lucéram from the beginning of the 80s until 2013, this stage was only run once in this direction, in 2008. It starts going uphill to Col Saint-Roch (990m), with lots of hairpins providing a permanent show for the spectators. Then there is a change of side - facing North - towards Col de la Porte (1057m), with portions always in the shade in January. The end of the stage is then much narrower, first downhill, with scattered stones, then uphill and very fast at the end, up to the bottom of the Loda hamlet which overlooks the Vésubie valley ...
