For new merchants, we schedule a kickoff call with our marketing team. For existing merchants, we are available to schedule a call at any time. The intention of this introductory call is to discuss timelines, window wraps, public relations, new market strategy and general marketing support. Even if you do not have an exact timeline solidified, it is still important to hold this call so any opening efforts can be planned in tandem with our team for maximum amplification. Monthly Merchant-Focused Email

We send out a monthly merchant-focused email see here. It is disseminated on the 20th of each month (make sure to check your junk mail!). This not only provides a strategic overview for what our team is working on, but a chance for our merchant partners to share their marketing initiatives and requests for support We use the content for organic/paid social, customer e-blasts and earned media, among others

Customer-Focused Email

As noted above, we utilize the content submitted to us from the merchant-focused email to send e-blasts to property specific audiences 1-2 times a month. An example of this email can be viewed here. We have a broad audience for these emails ranging from 5,00030,000 subscribers depending on the property.

Seasonal Marketing Campaigns

Five times a year, Federal Realty launches a broader seasonal marketing campaign designed to build brand awareness, create loyalty, and draw visitors to our properties The campaign includes sponsored social media posts, on-site collateral, paid ads, and varied external paid advertising (ex Google My Business, Spotify, and more)

Federal actively pitches and hosts live media and TV spots and we may reach out with the opportunity to feature your brand When it comes to announcement and advisories, we can help craft the story and connect you with our local outlets Each property has a dedicated Instagram and Facebook account where we post user-generated content that supports merchants You may submit content, but we ask that there are limited calls to actions. Tag our handles via stories, posts, and reels for additional exposure

Whether your business is planning an event or would like to be a part of ours, we can support in a variety of ways Federal plans seasonal events that include Sip & Strolls live music, experiential activations, and more We encourage merchants to participate to maximize the success of sales as well as the event If you are planning an event (ex Anniversary Event, Trunk Show, Tasting Dinner, and more), please reach out to strategize on how we can partner.
