cozy up to fall Crisp scents of firewood being cut. Rich shades of red and orange teasing away the bright greens of summer. Warm tea out on the patio, watching the short day end with a dusky hue across the horizon. It’s time to cozy up to fall. The very notion of fall brings such a yearning ... for those gentle comforts found only in the season when brown leaves float like feathers to the ground. It’s more than just the return of pumpkin-flavoured everything or tart apple candles or the practice of canning all those late-summer harvests. For us knitters, it is all about the wool and the delightful click of our needles as we prepare for the cool days ahead. For us, autumn is like coming home. Whether it is wrapping up in oversized shawls, going out into the cool evenings
with our snug-soft pullovers, or tugging on a freshly knit pair of textured mittens, the autumn season brings us into our element. So, too, does our Fall with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 4 collection! The garments and accessories you’ll find in this collection capture the essence of fall. With simple constructions, gentle texture, and rich colours that make the best of us swoon, each designer has imbued their knit with all the beauty of the season. It’s about comfort. Ease.
