The Royal Botanic Garden is a spacious garden with the size of 30 hectares, which enables visitors to take a long walk, exercise, and learn things about the plants. The Royal Botanic Garden is a huge area, therefore wayfinding and signages are needed in order to ease the users. Some problems that I found from the Royal Botanic Garden are the signages are very confusing and some of them are covered with plants that grow over these signages and the writings on the signages worned off due to the weather and conditions.

The idea behind this wayfinding and signs is to set contrast to both the wayfinding and signages so that visitors can spot them easily. The material used are concrete and paint, so the writings inside both of the signages and wayfindings is going to be embossed and painted so it could be easier to read. Different colour of the top part of the wayfinding and signages is used so that visitors could see the signages clearly from far. The logo of the Royal Botanic Garden is still used in this wayfindings so that the essense of the garden is still there. The holes that placed on the bottom of the signages indicates the second language of the logo itself. Lights can be put on behind the signages so that the lights emitted can shine accordingly to the holes.
