It is no wonder then that Fanusta has created a continuously growing ecosystem for traditional craftspeople and contemporary designers to co-create and take Indian art and craft to multiple spaces globally. They aim to rediscover and celebrate the traditional art and crafts of India through the creation of home products that are a unique combination of age-old mastery and new-age design. The CEO and Founder, Shailander kumar discovered that there is a vacuum when it comes to platforms for local artisans and craftspeople. There are hundreds of artists who face problems selling products, earning healthy margins and working on new designs. So, Fanusta was started to provide multiple avenues for these ingenious artisans and craftspeople which would allow them to perceive their art as a profitable revenue opportunity and not just a part-time hobby. The artists and craftspeople work with Fanusta’s team of designers to develop novel décor products that can make art functional while also exposing global designs to traditional art and crafts.
