God’s mission, your passion, our fellowship. Who We are The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is a body of Christians and churches engaging in God’s mission in the world. It’s a fellowship of Baptist Christians and churches who share a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice.

our voice. focus Always focus on the reader. Whether it’s video, advertisements or public speaking presentations, the individual is at the heart of the information presented. The Fellowship’s brand is about helping Christians and churches, which means focusing on their interests and needs first.

tone Use inclusive language and active verbs. Make the Fellowship personal. Engage emotion. Be hopeful. Emphasize calling. Invite and compel people to act. Don’t dwell on the past; focus on a positive present and promising future.


our colors. Logo palette The logo colors for the Fellowship are a mix of two colors: PMS 301 and PMS 363. The blue shade, PMS 301, is the dominant color in the logo and serves as the Fellowship’s primary color.

base palette Eleven colors are available for use as secondary colors. PMS and CMYK color codes are included. Use a minimal number of secondary colors in a publication so as to not distract or dominate the design.

primary colors Four colors are preferred as the primary colors in a Fellowship publication.

our fonts. The Fellowship uses two primary typefaces and one accent typeface. While substitutions are allowed if the font is unavailable, only the substitutions listed below should be used.

sANS SERIF FONT The Fellowship’s sans serif font is Myriad Pro. When Myriad Pro is not available, substitute with Arial.

SERIF FONT The Fellowship’s serif font is Minion Pro. When Minion Pro is not available, substitute with Times New Roman.

accent and headline font The Fellowship’s accent font is Scotch Roman. There is not a substitute for this font. This font should be used for accent and headlines only When using Scotch Roman, it is permissible to italicize the first letter of the occasional emphasis word as in:

our logo. The Fellowship’s logo is its foremost visual identifier, making it an essential component of any Fellowship publication. The logo must appear on the front of all Fellowship publications, placed at minimum of 0.25� from the edge of the publication. In the case of CBF Store products suitable for non-CBF audiences, the logo may be placed on the back cover or inside the book in lieu of the front cover.

The Fellowship has horizontal and vertical logos, which utilize the same globe and typeface. Either logo may be used, depending on the layout and dimensions of the publication.

The logo contains a symbol and typeface, both of which must be used. Neither the globe or typeface should be altered in any way. The logo can only appear in the styles listed.


Vertical logo The Fellowship’s vertical logo should be used in 4-color in color publications, and black or grayscale in non-color publications. The vertical logo must be used at a minimum width of 1.5 inches.

Horizontal Logo The Fellowship’s horizontal logo should be used in 4-color in color publications, and black in non-color publications. The logo’s typeface can also be reserved in white on 100 percent color backgrounds, though the globe must remain 4-color. The horizontal logo must be used at a minimum width of 2.5 inches.

Logo proportion When changing the size of the Fellowship’s logo, keep the proportions the same. Hold the “shift” key down when re-sizing the logo in order to keep the dimensions in the same

Incorrect logo usage Use of the official Fellowship logo is vital to brand consistency. Do not attempt to alter the Fellowship logo in any way. Do not use any version of the logo not listed as an official horizontal or vertical logo. The following are unacceptable uses of the Fellowship’s logo:

Copyright Use the universal copyright symbol, the current year, and the Fellowship’s complete name (Cooperative Baptist Fellowship) at the conclusion of every video.

Closing screen Always include a closing screen that directs the viewer to more information, such as a phone number or web site.
