Introduction to the Project The purpose of this magazine is to teach all the types of publics about the Pythagorean theorem and its importance to all of us in our day to day life and even though it seems like a really complex topic it is everywhere we go, from architecture to navigation. The Pythagorean theorem basically helps us to find the missing side of a right triangle. In the article “Example in the Daily Life it can show us how can the Pythagorean theorem is useful in a simple situation.

What is the Pythagorean Theorem?
To start, Who was Pythagoras? Pythagoras of Samos was a Greek mathematician and philosopher. Even though he is most known for proving the theorem, the Babylonians had understood it almost 1000 year before.
Statement “In a right triangle the area of the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares of its remaining two sides 4
FORMULA: a^2 + b^2 = c^2
c Hypotenuse
a
Right angled triangle
b 5 5
How to solve the Pythagorean Theorem?
Step 1: Identify the legs and The Hypotenuse of the right Triangle. *The legs
Step 2: Substitute values into the Formula (remember “c Is the hypotenuse)
Step 3: Solve for the Unknown.

Examples to Follow

Example in the Daily Life This article show how the Pythagorean theorem solves basic problems in our day to day life. Problem: Door - According to the measurements of a door, calculate the largest measure of a table that can pass through it
202 cm
85 cm
The largest measurement of a table that can pass through it is of 219.16 cm . 8
Conclusion In Conclusion the Pythagoras theorem is really important, it can help you find missing side lengths. Not only can it help finding the third side length to a right triangle, but it can also help you find the missing side lengths to squares and rectangles when the triangles are pushed together. The Pythagorean Theorem can help build rectangles and squares. If you see well around you there is triangles everywhere which that the theorem is helpful.
