This is a photographic survey of abandoned trailers, synagogues, and churches in the vicinity of Mountaindale, New York. Due to the economic decline that began in the 1960s, many thriving summer vacation homes were deserted as well as places of worship that served this once thriving community. This sampling of Raymon Elozua's images is part of his "Vanishing Catskills" multi-volume compilation.
