The First Convention
In 1958, the “Screen Process Printing Association International, Australian Chapter 33” In 1996, it was renamed as SGIAA “Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association of Australia” Today the SGIAA still upholds the original values despite several name changes and affiliations over the years
The Federal Board of Directors
Today the SGIAA consists of a Federal Board and 3 regional committees overseeing Australia and New Zealand.

State President Federal Public Relations Officer Chairperson of the Committee of Review of the syllabus of the Graphic Art School Federal President
Represented Australia on the Board of Directors of the Screen Printing Association International based in Virginia USA, and also at the Federation of European Screen Printing Association Guide the Association through incorporation, which meant rewriting of the Constitution
Glen Crerar Training Scholarship In memory of this outstanding man: The Glen Crerar Memorial Scholarship has been established
It is available to any person involved in the Screen Printing Industry and will be awarded from time to time at the discretion of the Trustees Main Criteria Management Ability Possess outstanding characteristics such as: punctuality, good manners, cleanliness, high moral standing, work and business ethics This year an exchange program commenced to allow employees from one part of the screen printing/digital processes to do work in other areas of the industry
