NORDIC The FESPA Nordic Congress CONGRESS brought together leading printers, manufacturers Gothenburg, Sweden 7-8 April 2011 and stakeholders from the region to an inspirational event where innovation and sustainability were key topics. Delegates were able to question and network with speakers before, during and after the event and 100% of those attending said the Congress represented “great value for money� with 95% stating that content either good or excellent value.

Barcelona staged the 2011 global summit, attended by 152 delegates. Held Barcelona over two days, leaders 17-18 November 2011 of the global wide format graphics community declared the event an overwhelming success with 97% stating that they would attend another FESPA event. Delegates were able to make new, and reinforce existing, business contacts; while debating the key issues facing the sector.

In addition to the FESPA.com website, FESPA has invested significantly in new media to ensure that its community has on demand access to newsfeeds, information, guides, forums and much more 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world. New media is an essential tool for exchanging ideas, gathering information and then releasing that information back into the community for its benefit. FESPA currently boasts a social network comprising over 8,106 members and growing! In fact, the network grew by 116% in 2011. FESPA TV provides a dynamic and visual opportunity to embrace the thoughts and ideas of its community and gives members the opportunity to express themselves whilst gaining valuable exposure. The first ever FESPA Corporate Video was launched in September 2011 and is a great example of harnessing the power of online TV to convey a message to engage its audience. The video has been translated into over 20 languages from French to Thai and is available on local national association websites in their respective languages.
