how we
met TAY L O R’ S
V E R S ION
“Ok, so boom!”
We met at St. Sabina Academy in the 5th grade, he was in Ms. Hudgens’s class, and I was in Mrs. Jenkins’s class. It wasn’t until the 8th-grade when I noticed he was a little cute (it was the glasses) and that I might like him. We reconnected for my junior prom in early 2011 he noticed
that he was interested in being my “little friend” but I wouldn’t give him my house phone number so we could talk. In 2012 we went to Odyssey Funworld and kissed in the laser tag room. After our Odyssey Funworld date, he realized that “I liked him and he liked me so we should just date” and so we did.
MARKEITH’S VERSION I don’t remember exactly how I met Tay but the first memory of me and her that pops up into my head is her inviting me to her junior prom. At the time I didn’t realize that she liked me. This was basically our first date. As the night progressed I started to realize that I liked
her too. We danced, ate and just had an overall great time. I finessed her into our kiss and it was all over from there. We went to White Castle after and ordered mozzarella sticks and we stayed there while we waited for her dad to pick us up.

THE
PROPOSAL A S T O L D BY T H E G RO O M
So peep this I’ve been with Taylor for what feels like forever. I’ve always told her that one day I was going to marry her. She would always just look at me laugh and say “Yeah okay Markeith”. I felt that there was no better time than her favorite holiday to ask her. It was the perfect way to get both of our families together. I used her favorite
show (but no words) to ask her to marry me. There is no other person that I could see myself marrying besides her. She has been my rock and has always been there when I needed her. She pushes me to be better and never allows me to settle for anything. She strong and her strength has only rubbed off and me made me a stronger man.
