OUR MISSION The Fiesta Bowl strives to create a positive economic impact for Arizona and focus on the community while having fun.

OUR VISION The Fiesta Bowl’s vision is to be a world-class community organization that executes innovative experiences, drives economic growth and champions charitable causes, inspiring pride in all Arizonans. As a non-profit organization, we believe in the importance of community outreach and service. Through our charitable giving, we strive to enhance Arizona non-profit organizations that contribute to the success of their communities through youth, sports, education, and human services.

2015-16 SPECIAL PROJECTS AVONDALE FIELD DONATION This 27th Annual Cactus Bowl playing turf has been proudly donated to the Avondale School District. With over 70,000 square feet of playing surface, the new field will be used by over 435,000 kids annually. KABOOM! PLAYGROUND BUILD In partnership with KABOOM! Playgrounds, Fiesta Bowl Charities sponsored the organization’s first playground at Hillcrest Village in Avondale. More than 200 Fiesta Bowl volunteers built this beautiful state-of-the-art playground in order to provide deserving kids a safe place to grow and play.


HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Fiesta Bowl volunteers partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build a home for a deserving family. Originally from South Sudan, the Nyalueth-Chol family of three (soon to be four!) now have a beautiful new home for their growing children. 50/50 RAFFLE Fiesta Bowl Charities teamed up with local charitable organizations to donate proceeds from the 50/50 raffle held at the Fiesta Bowl and Cactus Bowl games. A record-breaking $135,000 was raised to help support Playworks Arizona and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.


FIESTA BOWL TEAM OUTREACH NOTRE DAME OUTREACH IKEA and Tuft & Needle Fiesta Bowl selectee Notre Dame had the chance to build relationships with 20 deserving children and families from Arizona non-profit, Save the Family while also building brand new beds for the kids.


OHIO STATE OUTREACH Ryan House Players from Ohio State visited children at the Ryan House, a local organization that provides on-site care for families and children with serious illnesses in a comfortable environment.


CACTUS BOWL TEAM OUTREACH WEST VIRGINIA OUTREACH Phoenix Children’s Hospital Cactus Bowl selectee West Virginia brought gifts and smiles to the children at Phoenix Children's Hospital during the week of the Cactus Bowl.


ARIZONA STATE OUTREACH Children’s Cancer Network and Raising Cane’s 30 benefiting children from the Children’s Cancer Network and their families were invited to a Phoenix Raising Cane’s location to celebrate the ‘Dollar Donation’ fundraising initiative with Arizona State players from the 27th Annual Cactus Bowl, raising $28,550.

SPIRIT THE FACE OF THE FIESTA BOWL Born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1971, Spirit is the official mascot and the heart of the Fiesta Bowl Organization. Spirit tirelessly dedicates himself to nearly 150 appearances across the state each year. From hyping up crowds at various Arizona events, to spreading joy at local schools, Spirit brings smiles and warmth wherever he goes.


GRANT CYCLE Through the Fiesta Bowl, Cactus Bowl and related events, our goal is to provide funding to non-profits in the Arizona community that support youth, education, human services and sports. Last year, Fiesta Bowl Charities granted more than $1.5 million to the recipients on the following page.

WAYS TO SUPPORT SEND A VET In partnership with local military-focused non-profits, the Cactus Bowl continues its tradition of saluting our veterans and active military personnel in the community. Through the ticket donation program, you can help honor these local heroes and show appreciation for their time spent serving our country. SEND A KID The Cactus Bowl has teamed up with hundreds of local non-profit organizations to support underprivileged children in the community. Through the ticket donation program, you can help create lasting memories and inspire the Valley’s youth with the possibilities of higher education. GAME TICKET PURCHASE Each ticket purchased to any of our bowl games supports Fiesta Bowl Charities’ efforts to serve and enhance the Arizona community. VOLUNTEER More than 2,900 men and women serve as Fiesta Bowl volunteers for more than 20 events every year. They work tirelessly to ensure our bowl games and community events run smoothly.
