TEAM OF THE WEEK: OKLAHOMA STATE COWBOYS For the third straight week, a College Football Playoff contender falls as Oklahoma State knocks off No. 6 Texas, 38-35. The Cowboys got off to a fast start, scoring 31 points in the first half while holding Texas to only 14. The Longhorns were able to rally in the second half, cutting the score to 31-28 in the fourth quarter, but a late touchdown by Oklahoma State gave the Cowboys enough distance to secure the upset. Oklahoma State will go to Baylor this week.

THIS WEEK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL HISTORY: NOVEMBER 7, 2015 In the 10th week of the 2015 season, Nebraska upset No. 7 Michigan State, 39-38. The game was electric as both teams scored in bunches and the ending put it over the top. With Nebraska down, 38-26, with only 4:16 left in the game, the Huskers scored a quick touchdown and forced the Spartans to punt. With 17 seconds left in the game, Tommy Armstrong Jr. hit Brandon Reilly for a 30-yard touchdown bomb to complete the upset.

Last Saturday, volunteers and staff from the Fiesta Bowl helped out at the Superhero Fort Build for the Children’s Cancer Network. Besides organizing two world classs college football bowl games, the Fiesta Bowl champions charitable causes throughout the state of Arizona! #TBT
In this episode, Notre Dame crushed Rice, 54-11. Notre Dame put its foot on the gas and never let up, scoring 31 in the first half alone while Rice scored six points. Notre Dame’s bread and butter, the running game and defense, rose to another level. The team forced four turnovers and gave up 229 total yards, while the Fighting Irish ran the ball for 294 yards and five touchdowns.
FIESTA BOWL CHARITIES The Fiesta Bowl won the third annual Community Impact Award by the Phoenix Business Journal. The award is to celebrate and recognize companies for their community service and corporate giving. Through its two annual college football bowl games in the Valley, the PlayStation® Fiesta Bowl and Cheez-It® Bowl, as well as its numerous community events throughout the year, the Fiesta Bowl organization has granted $12.5 million to Arizona nonprofits over the last eight years.
