WEEK 14 WHAT’S NEW QUOTE OF THE WEEK “We make things so complicated. If we had cashed in on a touchdown, the game’s over.” - Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart on home finale win against Texas A&M Photo credit of Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images
TEAM TO WATCH: UTAH After an upset in the desert, No. 6 Utah has become the Pac-12’s last hope for a College Football Playoff berth this season. The Utes earned their 10th win of the season and seventh in a row after an impressive 35-7 victory at Arizona. The 10-1 start is Utah’s best since the 2008 undefeated season, while a 7-1 conference record is a program best since joining the Pac-12. With a balanced game on both sides of the ball, then No. 7 Utes held the Wildcats to only 196 yards of total offense while producing 517 themselves. Senior running back Zack Moss accounted for 203 of Utah’s 297 rushing yards against the Wildcats, while senior quarterback Tyler Huntley may be one of the most underrated players in the country, going 19-of-23 (82%) for 211 passing yards. A win against Colorado this weekend will guarantee the No. 6 Utes a Pac-12 South division title and a spot in the Pac-12 Championship, where they would face top-15 Oregon. Utah concludes the regular season hosting the Buffaloes for a primetime matchup at 5:30 p.m. on ABC.
TEAM OF THE WEEK: ARIZONA STATE Oregon’s College Football Playoff hopes were dashed when Arizona State upset the then-No. 6 Ducks, 31-28, in Tempe on Saturday. Cheers erupted and 51,875 fans rushed the field at Sun Devil Stadium after the Sun Devils snapped a four-game losing streak and earned their seventh top-10 upset victory since 1996. After earning their sixth win of the season, ASU qualified for a bowl game for the eighth time in the last nine seasons. Under the primetime spotlight, freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels threw three touchdowns, airing it out for a career-high 408 yards. This marked a new program record for passing yards by a true freshman. Becoming the third Sun Devil to hit 1,000 career mark in receiving yards, senior wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk sealed the victory, catching an 81-yard touchdown with 3:54 left in the game. The Sun Devils close the regular season when they host in-state rival Arizona for the 92nd edition of the Territorial Cup, Saturday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

KABOOM! FORT MOHAVE PLAYGROUND BUILD Last weekend, the city of Fort Mohave came together with Fiesta Bowl Charities and KaBOOM!, to build a new and inspirational 2,500-square-foot playground for Fort Mohave Community Park. 250+ volunteers from around the state gathered in Mohave Valley where they constructed and painted the park’s newest fixture.
