Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor is off to an eye-popping start, making him a possible Heisman contender. The 5-foot-10, 219-pound Badgers running back has 557 yards and eight touchdowns this season after 2,194 yards and 16 touchdowns last year. This junior from Salem, New Jersey is proving he’s a prominent force for undefeated No. 8 Wisconsin. The last time a running back won the Heisman Trophy was back in 2015, when Alabama’s Derrick Henry hoisted the hardware.

WHERE IS COLLEGE GAMEDAY? One of the most popular college football pregame shows, ESPN’s College Gameday, will broadcast live from the only top 10 matchup of the week. No. 10 Florida hosts conference rival No. 7 Auburn on Saturday, at 12:30 p.m. College Gameday is visiting Gainesville for the first time since 2012. Florida and Auburn haven’t played each other since 2011 and both teams are currently undefeated.

CFB150 CFB150 is a year-long celebration that will feature local game activations with a national focus on select early games, Anniversary Week and the postseason. Anniversary Week begins at the end of the month on October 31. Schools have been encouraged to showcase their own history by including the Anniversary in home game presentations throughout the 2019 season, specifically during Anniversary Week.

FIESTA BOWL FACTS FIESTA FEATURE: GRAND MARSHALS To recognize the theme of Women in Sports at the 2019 Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade, presented by Cheez-It ®, the Fiesta Bowl will honor five female icons with Arizona ties. The Grand Marshals for the Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade are Special Olympics golfer Amy Bockerstette, U.S. Women’s Soccer standouts Julie Ertz and Jessica McDonald, U.S. Paralympic gold medalist Allysa Seely and arguably the greatest women’s basketball player of all time Diana Taurasi.

CHARITY SPOTLIGHT There are only a few days left to submit applications to the Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers, powered by DriveTime program! This program grants 200 Arizona teachers a $5,000 wish. Applications are open to all Arizona K-12 public or charter school teachers, through October 5. Over 110,000 students have been impacted through Wishes for Teachers, powered by DriveTime over the last three years.
