Mr Vinay Mittal, associated with Hindustan Times Media as the Chief Financial Strategist, joined HT Media in October 2008. He has worked with Max India and ANZ Grindlays in software services, investment banking, treasury management and venture capital. He has more than 21 years of experience, spanning the full investment cycle – right from Mr. Vinay Mittal building businesses to spinning it off. In his address to the FIIB-ians, he said, “A business plan should always be customer centric.” Mr Mittal explained, “Team cohesiveness and business management are crucial for business strategies. In fact, leadership is really about stringing together these two factors.” This theory pumped up HT Media‟s turnover from Rs 400cr to Rs 1,800cr in eight years straight.
Sustainability and Green FIIB Dr Ashok Khosla, Chairman, Development Alternatives, addressed the august gathering on the February 21,Founder‟s Day, as the keynote speaker. He set the motion for the beginning of a green era at FIIB. It was the perfect way to inaugurate the Sustainable Development Centre at FIIB. Dr Khosla demonstrated that a large amount of world‟s wealth confines itself to a small portion of the world‟s population, Dr. Ashok Khosla while the majority thrives in poverty, through the champagne glass theory. These two conditions, he said are diseases – „affluenza‟ and „povertitis.‟ “It is possible to break out of these deficiencies through profitable but „sustainable‟ social enterprises that are environmentally viable. Dr Khosla explained.

Mr. Mr. Mehmood Mehmood Khan Khan
Mr Mehmood Khan, Chairman of the Sustainability Development Centre of FIIB, spearheads the Rasuli Kanwar Khan Trust (RKK Trust), a non-profit organisation that strives for the all-round development of people at the grassroot level in the Mewat region of Northern India. Mr Khan‟s, passion for sustainability and his sustained association with FIIB have both mutually resulted in fruitful activities. “FIIB has instilled a fresh zeal in me to help this them venture into sustainable activities,” Mr Khan said.
